WOTM: Causal Reality, Part I
The next two videos are a bit of a follow up to the Existential Jenga video. So you might want to watch that first.
I'm a big fan of Philosopher, Graham Oppy, who has spoken and written frequently about three levels of expertise. I won't go into that here because that's what the video is all about. The important part of his observation is that there are areas where we are entirely without expertise, and largely (if not entirely) because those areas do not exist in causal reality. This is particularly true of religion and metaphysics in general.

Yeah, the (unproven) fervor of believers disallows them to consider the cold, hard reality around them. The other day I learned that one of my daughters who has since become a Formon went to visit my -ex. One afternoon her mom decided to do her laundry for her and discovered that she was no longer wearing garments, but rather… gasp! horror!… run-of-the-mill underwear. She wouldn’t even speak to my daughter after that until the day she left, and then told her: “I guess you’re now a woke woman of the world!” Holy Hitch.
