WOTM: All Atheists Steal From God
I’m always amused when an apologist has developed a case of Godzheimer's and doesn't remember that his or her God allows the very thing their attempting to use to demonstrate "objective morality" and the need for a God to ground ethics. Let's all just thank Hitch that these people, in their day-to-day lives steal their values (for the most part) from The Enlightenment and Humanism.

Even if the bible didn't condone rape, Turek wouldn't know why. The dictates of the god do not usually include a rationale, that is if the god even has one. The problem for Turek is that if the god has a rationale, then it's not the source of the rule, and if it doesn't have one, then it's decrees are arbitrary and Turek doesn't know why rape is wrong.
They can't even decide that indigenous people are people!
It never ceases to amaze me how evangenitals never consider where morality actually comes from. Do they not even recognize that there are other species besides the 5th Ape that also feel an evolved sense of right and wrong —and behave accordingly?
