2 Random things about this first half. 1. Not sure if anyone caught it, (goes by super fast...again haha) Darlene is on the fountain in public while Madame Executioner is first jogging. Presumably how she got the connection to her watch/house? 2. For anyone interested (ONLY AFTER THIS SEASON IS COMPLETED!!!) They did release a full copy of everything Elliot writes in that notebook you see him using as a journal. It came with a few extra "accessories" within specific pages, again just as a little extra behind the scenes kinda thing. I enjoyed having it and reading it in the interim before season 3 came! No idea how well the extra "accessories" hold up today or if the outside sources are even functional anymore.
I wish LM started this series a good 2-3 weeks ago, it would have been doped timing for them to get up to the Christmas episodes of Mr. Robot in time for actual Christmas (loved those episodes!)
I think about this literally EVERY time I see a reactor start the show, haha.

Carly Chaikin (Darlene actress) 's delivery of "This is everything right now" to is so good and conveys her character's state of mind in so many layers. Her convincing herself to focus on fsociety with Elliot gone, being forced to step up as a leader, and making it everything she has as a grander purpose so she can cope with it. And the line delivery is so good with that timed pause because of her self awareness that she's fooling herself and she knows Mobley knows she's fooling herself but it doesn't matter anyway because they have to do this.
Them vibing to the Daydream montage was a mood hahaha
I agree with the general feeling about Season 2, even though I still really liked it. In my mind Season 4 >= Season 1 > Season 3 > Season 2
Of course Season 4 will be everyone's favourite, because everyone loves a good final season of answers!
well, this was an acid trip or something. really confusing episode altogether, hopefully i won't be this lost in the next episodes. lola, you're not alone, until milena mentioned she was elliot's mother i just assumed he was staying in a supervised place or something or that he employed someone to "take care" of him. felt really sad for darlene this episode and ngl, every time mr robot appears i feel violent. i know he's just a manifestation of elliot's mind but god, he's annoying. i feel like i know the actress of that woman who got hacked, will check it out in imdb later, but i'm afraid to search for shit in case i get spoiled. ps: milena's scream scared the shit out of me. i was really tense in that scene and then she suddenly screams jxhdj i got scared and scared my cat in return because she was sleeping on my lap.

should i watch this even though i'm already falling asleep and really tired from work or just wait and watch tomorrow?... decisions, decisions i guess i'll just have to wait because if i watch now i'm probably going to fall asleep halfway through it... but i really want to start season 2 🙃🙃

This season more than any other Mr. Robot season has SO MUCH re-watch value, it's crazy. It is by far one of the most beautifully bizarre seasons of television ever, on par with season 3 of Twin Peaks or season 2 of The Leftovers.
S2's atmosphere and tone are the best of the show, I feel. It's where Mr Robot really becomes Mr Robot, I think in part due to Sam Esmail consistently directing every episode from here on out. I realized recently it's because of how the season lingers on the aftermath/consequences of the hack that it has this wonderful blend of surrealism and realism, somehow simultaneously. It's definitely my most rewatched season and I have a lot of nostalgia for so many scenes (probably because it was the most recent season when I first started watching). Though it also probably has the most incredible individual scenes/montages which is why I always look forward to it
surprised to hear some people thought season 2 was slow, for me atleast the pacing and withholding of info was brilliant especially in retrospect
The conclusion that I've arrived at is that the attractive story threads are followed in a way that isn't palatable to mainstream audiences. The content of the season is top tier as always
Man this season is so good. It isn’t my favorite season overall but it IS my favorite season to re-watch. I have no doubt the girls are going to love it as well

You may recognise the actress who plays Susan Jacobs (the evil corp lawyer) - her name is Sandrine Holt and she played Cheryl Hamlin (Howard Hamlin's Wife) on Better Call Saul, and Oksana (Camina Drummer's crew / family member) in The Expanse.

We begin season 2! It's the season with the lowest scores on IMDB especially the first few episodes but the creator Sam Esmail said its his favorite. Speaking of which from here on out every episode is written and directed by Sam Esmail. Thats unusual for a TV show because its so much work for one person but he managed to pull it off.
