When Gendo is shown having his feet in the bucket of water (while trying to appear stoic) - Fuyutsuki is supposed to say ‘a bit hot, isn’t it?’ No idea why they translated it as lukewarm here.
The bucket of water is the important part, it's meant to be a comedic bit where they look cool and collected from the outside but it's because they have their feet in water (that was presumably cold initially)
