Toji took over the body the same way a normal person eating Sukunas finger would be taken over completely by Sukuna. Basically that old lady brought normal ppl back for short periods by having someone eat a piece of their body the same way curses live on in their body parts. It's like a human curse possession.

the family techniques ties back to the conversation between the brain and mahito when geto tried to choke himself. The brain said the body and soul must be connected in order to explain the choking, and mahito was like nah, my technique does separate the two, and maybe every technique is its own way of looking at the world. The techniques in families get passed down because of genetics, but who inherits what is based more on affinity. Think back to nen and how different users use different types of nen. Every JJK technique is its own way of doing things, nen has 6 different types, JJK has countless techniques. The families with notable techniques are able to keep it in the family more or less through culture and conditioning. The technique is applied at birth, but its almost like fate itself knows what kind of person that individual will become. There is a reason Megimi got the Ten Shadows when no one else had in generations, and there's a reason the techniques in a family might change or switch over time. Its based on the kind of people wielding said power. This isn't really confirmed, but it does make sense the more you learn about the world.
Naobito was only second fastest next to Gojo 'cuz Toji was dead lmao
toji is also not a sorcerer so he wasn't counted. but naobito has the ability to outspeed toji, so even if he was counted it wouldn't be wrong to say he's still the 2nd fastest person.
Cursed Womb is a general term for the embryo or larval stage of powerful cursed spirits. If you remember the main trio fought a Cursed Womb in Episode 4 at the detention center. Megumi also fought one when we first saw his domain. Choso and his brothers are/were Cursed Wombs but a specific type known as Death Paintings
The idea of Toji walking around Shibuya, seeing the domain sphere thingy and thinking "cool let's see what's going here" and hopping in will never not be funny to me

Its easier to refer to Choso and his brothers as Death Paintings. Because "Cursed Womb" is more generalised as terminology, since its just a fancy word for a Curse that's not yet fully manifested.

You seemed confused about Dagon being a Curse Womb. Curse Womb is just the name for a "baby curse". Choso and his brothers are Curse Wombs: Death Paintings, so if you want to directly discuss them and link them to Yuji in your theories, you might want to go with Death Paintings
true i always called them the death painting curses because of episode 4 called "cursed womb must die". Saying cursed womb always makes me think of those episodes

Ultimately it’s about understanding what you’re watching, these guys are the embodiment of every negative emotion you produce. Ranging from mild annoyances to sheer unadulterated evil. Where does the sympathy train end if not at the feet of spirits that manifest out of humanity’s worst feelings. Their stated goal is a wasteland a century from now. Geto was a human being. Toji was a human being. Naobito Zenin is a human being. As flawed and as evil as these guys are, sympathy can be extended towards them based on the fact that they’re people. Redeemable. Capable of self reflection and self correction. A cursed spirit by its nature is incapable of that. There is no middle ground. Think about when jogo killed that entire restaurant of people, I still maintain that is the most evil act of this show thus far, he had not a single reason not one. But it’s within his nature, I’d say he can’t even help himself. Again, you can’t find a middle ground nor extend sympathy to an entity whose nature is evil. What Dagon says there of course tugs at your heart strings, how could it not. But I believe it’s a feeling you must reject ultimately.
i dont agree, i dont know what the cursed spirits are capable of in terms of emotions, clearly they feel none for humans and would kill them without thought, but some care for other curses, jogo even said he doesn’t care about dying if that is gonna help advance the rest of their kind, thus they are not all mindless unfeeling creatures even when their capabilities of morality and emotions differ to that of humans, i dont think its difficult to extend some sympathy to them while also understanding that we cannot let them win in any capacity

Only some techniques are passed down in the family. Megumi's and Tuna Boy's as an example. Most aren't though. Hereditary techniques being rare are what make the big family's so powerful. Because they consistently have strong members through generations. Also techniques that are passed through family have no preference for children. It's anyone with the family blood.
This. Also the families have multiple techniques because in addition to either inheriting one of the family techniques or being born a muggle, a family member can also develop their own technique that may or may not get passed down.
