Yeah, anything Gojo and Geto related literally feels like it was taken straight out of fucking Greek mythology lmao, some epic yearning and soulmatism🫩 Wdym Geto's body was still trying to protect Gojo through pure muscle memory after DEATH? And the fact that Lola predicted this word by word😭 my jaw dropped when she said it lol

My headcanon about why the girls stayed by Geto’s side, even after he was no longer the same person, is that their relationship kinda parallels Gojo’s inability to let go of him. It took Gojo 10 years to finally find the courage to kill Geto, despite knowing the path he had chosen and the harm he could cause. In a similar way, the girls never abandoned him, even after his ideals became absurd. To me, that says a lot about how deeply Geto loved them. Their loyalty wasn’t based on agreeing with everything he did, it was rooted in the person who saved them and gave them a reason to live. Just as Gojo couldn't separate the terrorist from the friend he loved, the girls couldn't separate the “person” Geto became from the father they found in him.

just to be clear geto is permanently dead, his hand grabbing fake geto’s throat was like a spasm a dead body can have.

The fact that Gojo has been seen as a weapon and the strongest by all but maybe a few characters and the plan is to use his humanity as his weaknesses which is the one thing people over look is so sad but so good. Gojo calling out for Geto being the thing take makes his body react is such a haunting moment, I think Gege said it was more an instinct than Geto being in there, his body recognised Gojo was in danger and did the one thing he could. They’re so tragic Yuji and Ino both being energetic cheerful guys who are attached to Nanami is so sweet. It’s not stated in the story but Ino’s character page says that he wants Nanami to pass down his watch to him one day they’re so cute.

I feel like this episode makes things much clearer in terms of goals and sides. The curses and Pseudo-Geto do not value Sukuna as much as they do the sealing of Gojo. Jogo stands alone as caring solely for bringing about the age of curses at any cost, even if it’s his own life. Releasing Sukuna would help that end so he is after that. Mahito seems to care only for his own whims and desires, and if killing Yuji is what he wants he will pursue it, Sukuna’s rebirth be damned. Pseudo-Geto says he only needed Sukuna if the sealing failed, now it’s apparently not important and lets the curses have their game. Choso is only after Nobara and Yuji for revenge so that’s simple enough. The real Geto’s old associates worked with Pseudo-Geto with the expectation that Getos body would be returned/left alone. Now that the ‘main goal’ has been achieved, the players involved have all started to move of their own accord.

There was a small post credit scene we forgot to warn you about in this episode introducing the curse users you have already met in episode 11 and 12 :( a bit more explanation regarding Mechamaru, he essentially made a pact that 3 of his camera robots activate in case of his death. He needed a strong condition for this pact to work so he set them to activate in case Gojo gets sealed. He's dead but his clones can work for some time until their cursed energy ends.
