One Piece (Live Action) 2x05 Reaction

I am hoping they check out WIT Studio's THE ONE PIECE when it comes out 馃檹馃徑. The live action does move things around like with Garp seeing Luffy early on or Luffy and Bartolomeo at Loguetown, when it actually happens later on in the series. I know with what the remake is gonna cover, I know they'll still enjoy it all over again in a new and fresh way.
Yeah, and for the girls it鈥檚 worth mentioning that WIT Studio was the studio that adapted the first seasons of Attack on Titan
Usopp has always been my favorite one piece character so the Usopp love is appreciated. That's exactly what his character is supposed to be - the normal guy in a group of monsters and legends who grounds the story and shows us true bravery
Love how invested you girls are in the subplots, all I can say is that you won鈥檛 be disappointed :) I cannot WAIT for the next 2 eps, I know you鈥檙e gonna love them!
Usopp the brave!!
the filler for one piece in like, the first 500 episodes, is so good! genuinely entertaining as hell. i'm not caught up on the anime, but i've watched those first couple of hundred episodes twice. being a kid watching one piece was such a joy, but honestly the story is just as funny, emotional, and overall entertaining as an adult. only reason i struggled to continue is the pacing of the anime gets bad after the 500+ episode mark, one day i'll rewatch again then switch to the manga when the pacing gets bad. the live action can never recreate the structure of the story for obvious reasons, but i gotta say the absence of it deprives the live action audience of a lot of the charm that exists in the story. i wouldn't want reactions to one piece because i'm not interested in a 17 year long reaction series (lol) but honestly i hope that one day everyone who watched the live action gives the anime a try on their own time. not experiencing one of the most iconic anime, even partially, would be such a shame.
the transponder snail actually plays opening 2 of the anime when sanji puts it on hold
I take exception with Lola using the word "realistically" in the same sentence as talking about an otter wearing pajamas riding a vulture with mounted Gatling guns lmao
Fun fact! In the anime, it is shown that the big mountains on Little Garden are actually the bones of the sea kings that Dorry and Broggy (the giants) killed a 100 years ago. Also, Zoro and Sanji's competition in the manga isn't about who killed the dinosaur, they both killed one (Sanji a T-Rex, Zoro a triceratops) and their competition was about which one killed the biggest dinosaur, just like Dorry and Broggy! It's a little fun parallel between them. Another fun detail is that in season 1, Usopp tells Kaya (his sick friend) a story about a giant goldfish, and in this episode, they actually find a giant goldfish. It's an example of how Usopp's lies usually come around in some way :) Finally, I think you may have already seen people explaining this in other videos, but the crew does have to stay a certain amount of time on each island for the log pose to reset. Here they bypass that thanks to Sanji finding the log pose to Alabasta, but in the anime we find out that if they hadn't found the log pose, they would have had to wait a whole year on Little Garden for their log to reset.
Their discussion about miss all Sunday is soooo good
Shoutout to the showrunners for not chickening out and actually giving us a live action sea otter in pajamas, riding a vulture with machine guns 馃檹
They embrace the goofiness instead of hide from it like pretty much every other live action adaptation, even non anime stuff shies away from the heart of the original. Respect!
