Pluribus is my favorite show of 2025 and I am absolutely obsessed with it and didn’t know what to do after it finished. BUT I VOTED FOR PENGUIN. They will see Pluribus no matter what. It’s created by Vince Gilligan. But we don’t know if they’ll ever see Penguin, one of the best things to come out of HBO Max. So come on guys let’s go for Penguin 🥹
Despite this very sound logic, my primal, lizard-brain need for short-term, maximum gratification takes over. And so I vote for Pluribus with the chance that Penguin might not go on the poll again. Even though I really liked Penguin and this is a risk, I like Pluribus more. Part of me hopes Penguin wins still though.

Honestly, I'm surprised Pluribus isn't even higher. Before you watch The Penguin you really should watch The Batman (2022). I don't know if you'd like it as much as you'll like The Penguin, but it gives you context for where Gotham is at in the show.

I voted The Penguin but would be happy with Pluribus. Firefly (currently a distant next-to-last place in the poll) is a solid show and has a rabid fanatical fan base, and I like Nathan Fillon – the guy has charisma. But to me, the show is not the greatest that hardcore fans make it out to be. Maybe if had been given another season or two. Also, didn’t age well to me. Firefly is not near as good as The Expanse.

Fallout bros, they'll eventually watch Fallout. Firefly, as someone that watched it way back in the megaupload days and loved it, now as an adult I realize that it has like 4-5 actually good episodes. It being cancelled just isn't great for reactions. So, I suggest anyone that chose Firefly or Fallout, make your vote count and choose The Penguin. Pluribus I'm sure they'll get to eventually as well.

Pluribus was a bit of an unfortunate misfire, not enough narrative for the amount of episodes it had. It felt like 4 episodes worth of content stretched to fill 9. I'm surprised it has so much traction here. Won't be upset if it wins, but Penguin or Firefly would be a bit more interesting imo.
With respect, I disagree. I do not value narrative as highly in this show. Characterization has a lot of importance. The episodes with less narrative simply progressed that front and did so well

Pluribus feels like it would be something different
I would watch "The Batman" (2022) first if you go with the Penguin. You don't need to know anything about Batman to watch that movle. It is a new Interpretation of the character. The Penguin Series takes place right after the movie. It makes the series even better because the entire plot of the Show starts as a result of what happens in this Film. Even if you are not into Superhero Movies, the movie has a really grounded, thrilling story and puts a lot of emphasis on the characters and the mystery of the plot and is told like a detective story instead of just mindless action. I really think you would enjoy it. No matter if you watch it on your own, or you react to it (which would be really amazing) watching that movie first and then the masterpiece that is The Penguin takes you into a dark and intriguing World that I would love to experience through your eyes.

The Penguin is very good with some really outstanding performances. I would recommend watching The Batman movie (with Robert Pattinson) before you watch the series. It's not exactly crucial, but the series starts right after the end of the movie and might lead directly into The Batman II movie which hopefully comes out next year. I enjoyed both Pluribus and Fallout season 2 but I imagine LM will eventually react to both of them before both of their next seasons come out.

FYI the penguin is a sequel to The Batman (2022) by Matt Reeves. It picks up directly after that movie ends. So you should watch or react to that before watching the penguin.
