Megumi's comment about his name is justified because it is a feminine name in Japan. So he was basically calling out the person who named him that, even though he is a male.

I love the fact that if you showed someone just the JJK endings, they would assume this is a wholesome slice of life anime💀

The white haired second year is called Inumaki, like a longer version of the only female second year Maki, but I think we can live with you guys calling him Salmon. And ofc you know Panda. This monologue from Megumi is one of my favorites in the show and it's coupled with an amazing soundtrack. It is a huge contrast to Yuji's idealogy of saving everyone you can guiding them to proper deaths, yet they both understand that both convictions are valuable and the mutual respect isn't lost. It is why they both kept saving each other in the first episode. It's quite interesting seeing you reacting to it after seeing Monster but i personally think there's room and value for both convictions.
