Rogue One is still bad even after Andor
After watching Andor, you guys will definitely want to watch Rogue One. It basically functions as the finale for the series now. Regarding the other Star Wars movies, I think you would like them more once you're invested in the universe. If you do decide to go down that road, I'd highly recommend watching them in what's called "Machete" order, which is: 4,5, 1,2,3, 6 This makes the Prequel trilogy (1,2,3) function as a flashback to see Darth Vader's backstory after the big reveal about him. That sets up perfectly for movie 6, Return of the Jedi, to function as a huge payoff for the Original trilogy, the Prequel trilogy, and the Andor storyline all in one.
Now is the time for Andor. This is objectively true for me as I wanted to rewatch it soon so really this is great for me.

Of course I wanna vote Andor but I need to know if you've seen the Star Wars films yet. I'm pretty sure you guys said you only watched a few and didn't like remember them well? Because while you CAN watch Andor without having seen the films, I don't feel like you can truly appreciate it without knowing everything that came before it and everything it's leading up to.
The same could be said: -I don't think you can truly appreciate Rogue One before watching Andor. -I don't think you can truly appreciate New Hope before watching Andor and Rogue One.

Man I didn’t know people hated Rogue one this much on this Patreon lol on my honest opinion I thought it was an ok movie. To be fair when it comes to any Star Wars related content the bar is on the floor for me.
Rogue One is my favorite SW movie. I watched Star Wars IV New Hope in the theater when released in 1977. I was 13.
They should definitely watch Andor without seeing Rogue One first. My thoughts on Rogue One: Imagine your sister has been in a long-term relationship with this jobless guy who is a raging asshole, smokes meth, and sits in a gas station parking lot all day shouting conspiracy theories about 5G cell towers and Covid. He's constantly in and out of jail for things like shoplifting Smirnoff Ice and sawing catalytic converters off of cars. Whenever you try to talk sense into her, she just shouts YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND. Then all of the sudden, one day at Thanksgiving, she brings over a brand new guy. He's got a comb-over, is a bit overweight, smells a little weird, but he has steady work as a dishwasher and is generally polite. "Wow Sister! New Guy is awesome! He said thank you once and he helped clean up! Way to go! We LOVE New Guy." Rogue One is New Guy. It's not that it's great. It's just that it's sooooo much better than other recent Star Wars movies, it gets a lot of praise.

You should absolutely watch Le Bureau des Légendes (the only French show I would recommend) or its English adaptation if you prefer English. It is not very famous because it's not in English, but it's VERY good. It's about real-life spies and how they manage (or not) to live different lives at the same time.

Andor is great, but I have plenty of Andor reactions so I voted for The Pitt, which is the show I'd like to hear them discuss the most. If I had another vote it would have been for Adolescence, which is neck and neck with The Pitt. Andor 3rd and then a sizable gap to Penguin, which is a fine show, but the weakest of the 4.

Andor is incredible and I say that as someone who isn't a massive Star Wars person. I say this just to dispel any fears you might have that you need in depth knowledge of SW lore to properly appreciate it which isn't the case. I'm sure there's plenty of nods to the hardcore fans but the show is great on its own too. It's a very prescient show given our modern times...
Yeah I always found the movies and other Star Wars stuff kinda gimmicky and childish. This series made me actually interested in the universe though. So much intrigue, politics, scheming, action

I voted Andor all the way. My favorite SW series. I love Andor. Has the awesome miniseries Chernobyl ever been a poll candidate before? CHERNOBYL (2019) (5 episodes). IMDb 9.3, RT 95%, RT Audience 97%. Won Emmy for Outstanding Limited Series. I haven't seen Adolescence (4 episodes) but is on my watchlist.

Gonna vote for The Penguin (I haven't seen it but I know its DC) purely because I would love to see them react to MCU related stuff one day. Even though I know they already have said superhero stuff isn't for them and they never watch movies. I do think they would enjoy it more then they realize.

I would skip Rogue One. Yes, I know its the end of the story but compared to Andor, its like eating a Mcdonalds meal the day after enjoying a 3 star Michelin meal.
I agree the quality of writing dips, but I think it provides closure for some main characters I love the Andor series finale but I think that’s because i had already seen R1
The Pitt is so good. Highly recommended. You would love it. Andor will obviously win this time, and it deserves to, but I really hope we get The Pitt next.
I voted for Andor because it’s the best show :D Still, I’m a bit sad knowing it will push Fallout (Dec 2025, 8 eps), One Piece (Early 2026, 8 eps) and Invincible (Early 2026, 8 eps) into the March–June/September window (depending on whether we use the free slots after Mad Men). We also can’t move anything into the “Long Show” slot since Mad Men runs until April 26. And on top of that, Summer 2026 is already packed with The Boys S5, House of the Dragon S3, and The Bear S5 :( So if people are hoping for The Pitt, The Penguin, or Adolescence, those shows probably won’t get a chance until the end of 2026 :D

One is a work of art. Two seasons of absolute greatness. The other is a mediocre Star Wars movie that is only highly regarded because every other movie around it was absolutely awful. Seriously. Rogue 1 was very disappointing. Cardboard characters, bad pacing. Tony came in to save the script and he could only do so much.

It's not surprising the Pitt won the Emmy over Severance S2. It's great and will come back yearly with new season like the Bear, and season 2 will come out next January. But of course I voted for Andor.

All very good shows that should be reacted to at some point. My natural feeling it to vote for The Pitt, it is probably my favorite show of the year. But seeing as how many have been waiting for reactions to Andor for a long time and I think it is excellent, I voted for Andor. Andor next and then The Pitt after that would be my choice.

The Pitt is the best show I've seen in years, I normally am not a fan of TV but I was anxious waiting each week for the next episode. Exciting, moving, meaningful. And actually a drama instead of sci fi/horror/anime/etc.
