Yea I’m sure someone has already mentioned it but Japans high school is 3 years. Kageyama and Hinata are 1st years, Connie look a like (Tanaka) is a 2nd year and Daichi (the captain) and the other gray haired boy is a 3rd year. Also the girl with glasses is a third year 😁

Both versions are correct! There's actually an even shorter version that the community uses which is "HQ", it saves a lot of typing and indecision XD (since the word is pronounced "High-Q" it ended up being shortened that way)

I think it was first translated as Haikyuu and then later with one u. The Haikyuu Wiki still has the double u and I personally like the double u better :D Edit: I found that explanation on Reddit: -------------------------------------------- The Japanese name is ハイキュー!! When written in Romaji (Japanese words spelt with the Roman alphabet), this would read Haikyuu!! with two u's. Another possible spelling is Haikyū!! ū in Romaji represents uu. When the manga was being translated, they decided to remove the extra u from the title, so the official English translations will all say Haikyu!! So really there's no correct answer, just personal preference. -------------------------------------------- So it's practically a choice between direct translation or official translation.

Just one like this Haikyū but Haikyuu with two has been pretty much accepted

In Japanese they are both equivalent ū = uu. They both represent the romaji for the long vowel u sound.
