advocating for haikyuu !!!!! they (and me) need happy lighthearted anime content; they are clearly eager to watch it; they will absolutely love every character, including the rivals; Lola used to play volleyball; the show handles emotional moments (both happy and sad) really well; It also has a really good grasp on character growth and development; Tsuki has Meruem's VA; Its completely different to anything we've watched so far in this channel animewise. Hoping you girls are after 147. There are two pieces of interesting info that I think you'd like to know and talk about. One after 147, and one after 148. --Spoilers below-- For ep 147, a small translation thing. The entire show, Gon calls Killua his best friend using the word Tomodachi (Special/Close Friend). But at the end of 147, when he says "We'll always be friends" he uses the word Nakama (Co-worker, teamate, comrade, acquaintance). Togashi is very particular about the words he uses so this was definitely intentional. I won't go further on what it means because I'm more curious about your thoughts on Gon and Killua's relationship at the end here. -- For after 148 From the Manga, Gon has a short conversation that's essentially his final thoughts on the journey that I know you girls might want to read. I鈥檓 begging everyone to vote for Monster in the poll. They are the best reactors I鈥檝e ever seen when it comes to understanding characters and human emotions/behaviors. Monster is a perfect show for them. It鈥檚 a dark show but the themes are bittersweet.
I think their monster reactions would be my favorite thing I ever watched on their channel honestly. I don鈥檛 think it鈥檒l win against haikyuu but I hope they consider watching it afterwards.
