I still have to listen to the discussion, but I would like to point out the intro. Season 1 was blood splatter, which increased with the violence and brutality of the show. Season 2, on the other hand, is wall cracking, where Mark's world and mind get broken further and further. I can't wait to see what they come up with for season 3. The choice of colours in particular is perfect for the start of the next season.

i absolutely adored this season. By the way, those scenes with marks from alternate dimensions and that line about future rex saying "you wouldn't like what you had become" will be HEAVILY explored in season 3 and i cant wait for your guy's reactions to it
Just to clear up the Older Eve, that was our main Eve who lived 20 years with Mark stuck in the sand dimension, then they found Mark 20 years older and he lost his mind (why Robot said “you wouldn’t like what you had become”) so they went back 20 years to Mark right after he killed Levy. But that was our Eve confessing her feelings
That scene with the guardians rescuing Mark. Those guardians are from this Mark's dimension but they are from the future. A future where Mark was stuck in that dimension for 20 years, because that's how long it took them to find that dimension. When they did find this dimension, Mark had gone mad in there. So they time traveled into the past in the same dimension and found our Mark. Then they just sent him back to his time in his home dimension.
About # of seasons: we will probably get around 7-8 seasons, they've been pretty faithful to the comics so far and we're not even a third of the way through

You guys should check out X-Men 97' 👀 while having watched X-Men the animated series before helps, I believe 97' is so damn good and works on its own as well. Enough information is given about past events at least. Its been so damn good and so well written. Wouldn't be a bad idea to consider for one of your shorter animation slots.
Please haven't suggested it the because others hadn't yet. The writing has blew me away, I thought they were gonna go for nostalgia but in my opinion it's better the original series ever was.

We are roughly 1/3 through the invincible comic now. So 6-7 season would be perfect
I rather assume 7. There are still 5 big story arcs to come, although the story arc for Season 4 was relatively short in the comic. But Kirkman will probably just let events from later occur earlier or develop new storylines, like with Donald this season, to fill in the gaps.
Black Sails' reaction is over, and now so is Invincible's. Today we mourn.
