It really makes you think about Subaru. The poor man was having trauma flashbacks about that dang high stairwell, but the minute a kid "was about to be hit by a car" as he told Al, he jumped in to save her with zero hesitation. Subaru is the dad that always comes home with the milk and a really sugary cereal like Captain Crunch to spoil you with.

Peak Zero is back! This episode shows why Ram is my favorite character. People say she doesn't care or is a jerk are 100% Wrong. Ironically she probably cares the most of anyone. She just doesn't show it. Subaru forgetting Rem completely crushed her. Now there's no one who remembers her sister. Including herself. Subaru wasn't Wrong when he said she was crying. Just not on the outside But what makes Ram great is she is brutally honest to a fault. She's not going to BS you, but she's not going to waste her time either if she doesn't trust you. She the exact "tough love" someone like Subaru needs to keep him grounded. Look back to the 1st episode before they left for the tower, when Subaru goes to visit Rem. Yeah Ram calls him a "pervert" but when he leave she also genuinely smiles because it means so much to her that Subaru cares so much for Rem. That's why Subaru forgetting Rem infuriates and breaks her heart. But despite all that, she still believes and trust in Subaru.
