Founder's Outfit and Post-Release Patreon Plans

Hello patrons, thanks for supporting us all this time. As the 1.0 release date gets closer, we'd like to announce a few things.

Free Founder's Outfit DLC for Patrons and Early Access players:

A bunny suit Founder's Outfit will be added, chosen based on your implied costume preferences. This outfit was designed last month and is currently in development. We will aim to have this outfit available at release or soon after. It will be a free DLC for anyone who supported the game through Patreon before release and anyone who bought the game through Steam Early Access.

Patreon Wind-Down Plan

Our goal for this Patreon was to fund Mahou Arms. After release, we plan to continue the Patreon for one year with discounted tiers and/or boosted tokens, so that patrons can collect past monthly art if desired. After a year, we plan to pause the Patreon indefinitely, although news announcements will continue to be mirrored here and on Steam. We may or may not continue producing new rewards after release, we're not sure yet.

Patreon Launcher & Mahou Arms 1.0 Access

We will be removing the "bleeding" channel from the Launcher since we will no longer have bleeding builds after release. There will only be "censored" or "uncensored" channels to choose from which will contain the latest build of the game.

Regarding the Steam price increase and Patreon Steam key redemption, we will base the cost of your steam key on when you became a patron. So, if you were a patron before March 27th, then you will be able to redeem your key once your lifetime pledge amount reaches the old Steam list price of $29.99 USD, otherwise you will be able to redeem once your lifetime pledge amount reaches the new price of $39.99 USD.

Likewise, access to version 1.0 of the game through the Launcher will be based on your first pledge date and lifetime pledge amount. If your first pledge was before March 27, 2026 and your lifetime pledge amount is above $29.99 USD, then you will have access to 1.0 at release via censored and uncensored channels. If your first pledge is after March 27, 2026, then your lifetime pledge amount will need to be above $39.99 to access version 1.0 of the game.

We know this is all a bit complicated, so thank you for taking the time to read about it. It's an awkward thing to transition from a work in progress to a complete game, but this set up seemed simplest and fairest to us.
