Continue polishing Chapter 3's scenes — add and improve small props, develop related functionality
Chapter 3 has a lot of content. Maybe I should split it into two chapters. But I'm afraid splitting might cause a bunch of new headaches and actually take longer. Still, whenever I look at that long to-do list, the thought creeps back in.
The reason Chapter 3 is so packed? When I first started making this game, I had no idea where the story was going, or even if the game would turn out okay. I was making it up as I went, constantly afraid I'd run out of content. So I kept digging holes for myself, telling myself I'd fill them in later.
The Chapter 3 script came together around the end of last year. Ideas just kept coming — it felt amazing. But when I started breaking it down, I realized just how much stuff there was to make. It hit me hard. I've trimmed and rewritten it several times since.
Right now, the plan is simple: stop overthinking, stick to the document, and just grind. Just get everything done first, even if it's rough. Once the whole chapter is playable from start to finish, then we test, optimize, and polish.
When will it be done? I wish I knew. Trust me, I'm anxious too. Sales might dry up, the buzz might fade, people might move on — and I just have to accept that. All I can do is give it my best. Learn from it, and maybe next time I'll get a shot at making something better.

Don't worry, i play a lof of new games (like halloween, hellraiser revival, sinking city 2, etc) BUT i always come back to TKA. I love Jodi too much lol. Your game is by far the greatest indie game I ever played.
Just finished TKA & I love this game!
Why not split it? It'll give you guys breathing room to work on a proper ending or flesh out the plot. And I would mine another chapter or two of content.
Every game would be better if we could just import Jodi in to it.
was a RE fan base untill i met TKA. Now RE spot was descended down because of the latter

Its gonna be a long while before the buzz fades on this. Its an incredible game as is. Take your time and let things flow. I have tons of games and this is still one of my best purchases.
Wouldn't it be better to split it into chapters? You'd release content faster and wouldn't have to squeeze anything in
I’m glad to hear your ideas are flowing, and I wouldn’t want you to miss this opportunity. My suggestion is to split the project into two parts (3.1 and 3.2): release the first part within a month, and then launch the second part around the end of the year or the New Year holidays (the second part would simply add new levels and obstacles while reusing all the existing features).
I'm cool with multiple chapters of The Killing Antidote, it's my second most played game of all time, right next to Modded Fallout 4 😁👍
Dev: 'Start working on the final boss's Phase 1 judgment animations' I have to say this. The correct spelling is judgement. 'Judgment' is only used in the context of law because law is lukewarm to change and they're stubborn, old-fashioned.

A lot of gamers are waiting for the new GTA, but I'm not. I'm waiting for the new chapter of TKA. : )
GTA is my #1 but this is definitely my number 2. I check the workshop and nexus regularly to see if any new mod will entice me to start another run lol my steam says I'm at 400 hrs...

As of right now sense I started playing your game it's my go to stress reliever game of all time. I love this game and I for one am grateful you are still pouring your heart into this project. Please dont give up or think people will move on, you got this. Also no pressure right?!? Lmao. Just do you. It's trucking awesome currently and very happy to have this game to play.
I think whatever you do, the game is super solid regardless. You can always make It better. Keep adding content and people will always come back to play and recommend the game to friends. I think you have an amazing game already. I personally want more and more chapters to run through. Don’t lose focus and keep going! The fan base believes in you and your team!
