Finally some news
Hello there, hope everyone is fine.
First, sorry for the lack of activity lately, I've been quite busy with "real life" work and worries.
However, I've got a few days off so Im taking the opportunity to put together a first public version of a side project I was working on (basically some sort of tropical remix of the BNG Italy map, more about that freebie really soon).
On the Mediterranean Special project front, I'm paving the way for the next build (stage 05). Nothing to show yet, but at least Ive got a good idea of where we going, and this next one should be usefull to have a try at connecting the previous ones together.
While preparing the stuff, and thus updating to the v0.35 version of BNG I realized there were missing textures due to filepaths pointing to stuff the devs moved, so I spent the whole day making sure this (hopefully) wont happen again!
I updated all the download links in all the respective original posts, you can find these again here.
Next up on updating the existing stuff will be to either get a grip on that new official rally mode editor or see with the pacenotes guys if there's a way to convert the work they already did to this new system... and also to go crazy with the new rally assets the devs implemented in this new release!

Hey, great to hear some news from you! :-) I've downloaded the updated mediterrean stages, but I think there's a problem with ms_1. It just doesn't record my team. Seems like the checkpoints don't register when I drive through. It stays at "Checkpoint 1/9". I'll try ms_2 now.
Yeah, same for ms_2 and ms_3. Haven't tried ms_4. I hope it's not much work to fix it. :)

I still think you should reach out to the beam developers and see if they could make your work "Official" you have managed to produce the absolute best quality rally-geared maps and I think they might be very happy to work with you on making it part of the game. I can try to help connect you in whatever way I can.
Thank you so much man, but I doubt my production rythm would fit, not to mention the heaviness on ressources, all due to the amount of detail in these, and I dont want to compromise that, at least on this serie... Another thing is that there are still people who support and supported me, and it would feel like haute trahison to sell that stuff to the officials now :')
