Izzy Chapter One | Public Release
Hi everyone,
I know I originally mentioned an early April public release to coincide with Chapter Two for VIP members — but as we’re now into mid-April and Chapter Two is taking a little longer than expected, I felt it was only fair to release Chapter One publicly now.
I do want to be clear that this version does not yet include the refinements I’m currently working on alongside Chapter Two. There are a few areas I’m not completely satisfied with and plan to improve in the next update, but overall the story is exactly as intended. Think of this as a Version One release.
Progress has been a little slower recently, as I’ve been limited to a few hours a day — and as you can imagine, that doesn’t always move things forward as quickly as I’d like. That said, Chapter Two is progressing well, it’s just taking a bit more time to get right.
As always, I want to thank all my supporters for their continued support — it genuinely means a lot and keeps everything moving forward. ♥

It looks interesting, but I have absolutely NO clue what this game is about or what tags it's supposed to have. I'd like some info before I try it out.
Um, i mean this with no ill intent but this reminds me a lot of According to Sophia, where she has her own rules on things...did you take inspiration from that game?
That’s a fair question, and no offence taken at all 🙂 In a broad sense, yes — I do like the idea of characters having their own internal “rules” to justify behaviour, and that’s something I’ve explored with Izzy. But rather than a defined rulebook, it’s more about how she thinks and processes things in her own head. As with most creative work, there’s always a bit of shared inspiration across the genre, sometimes consciously, sometimes not. That said, Izzy’s story and character development go in a different direction to the game you mentioned. She might come across as a little naïve or playful on the surface, but there’s a lot more going on underneath. And just to add — this is a side story designed to introduce her character before she appears in the main Shaddolands arc. I hope that helps, and I really appreciate you raising it 👍
