Map Progress Update: One Step at a Time

Hello, No Creek fans. I hope this update finds you well. It has been about a month since Beta 3.0 has been out and, for the most part, things seem to be going well. There were a few issues that were brought to my attention that will need to be addressed moving forward, but most things that have been mentioned were either on the end of the player or in areas that I haven't spent any time on yet.

A progress update is certainly due. I would like to do these more often, but to be quite honest, it is incredibly hard to find time to work on the project right now, let alone give updates that take up some of that time. Nevertheless, here we are.

Since the main farm is pretty well finished, I switched my focus to adding some details to the town, working on some decorative items, and starting on some other farms. I think all of the houses that will be on the map are now placed and work can begin on building everything around them.

Speaking of farms, I have begun working on the largest dairy operation that the map will feature. It still has a long way to go, but I have high hopes for it when completed. This operation will be a mix of old and new and offer a lot of room for flexibility and expansion. Here's a sneak peak.....

I have also finished a second church and accompanying graveyard that is in its real-life location. This area just adds immersion and turned out really nice. It's complete with seasonal flowers at random grave sites!

Also in the works is a purchasable bin site with shed that the player can utilize if they need extra storage or want to expand their operation away from their home farm. I did this in a couple places on Medicine Creek for FS19 and people really seemed to like it. This one has a little more work to go, but will give the player more options when making decisions about where to start or where to expand.

Additionally, I've been working on a feed mill that a RowCropSpecial sent me. There's still work to be done here, but I think it will provide some fun additional gameplay. The mill will be setup as a production point to create feed for livestock. More to come on this later.

This isn't everything that I've been working on, but it is the big stuff. As for another update, I can't really say at this point. There are several non-visual things to adjust and take care of as well as other stuff on my list before getting another version out. I am also waiting on another modder to finish a couple things that may streamline some stuff and make future releases easier and less work (which I'm excited about).

I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate your support. The Discord server has been a great resource for sorting out bugs and coming up with new ideas. I hope you will continue to be active on that platform and give feedback that shapes how this project finishes up. There's still a lot to do to make this project all it can be, but I'm certainly committed to bringing you my best work yet.
