So there will be a Pride 2026 DC Mini on Monday, but before then, can YOU guess which flags belong to which characters?

1 and 2 goblin and tall goblin 3 asmodea/elith 4 vonnie no idea who's canonically gay, so no idea about 5+6 but if it's bogan and radnar I will die 7 or 8 might be melchior but I don't know who he hangs out with other than the glass ball... 9 maybe morningstar or fortuna, guessing a dark scientist, but I'm not up to date, idk, maybe it's the devil cat I had expected that shiny new Dark Science Companion to be of more help :-D

Okay so 1. is Kim, 2. is Ling (could be reversed) I'm gonna say that 3. is Elith, because as far as i can remember they're the only non-binary character (and also if they're somewhere in there then they would have that flag) and 4. is Vonnie 5. maybe Hayakawa and 6. would maybe be Valerie 7. is maybe Balthazar? (maybe he still counts more as "supporting character" than antagonist?), 8. is Melchior 9. Maybe the devil cat? we don't really know what their deal is so who's to say as you can tell i am very sure of my guesses
You're by far the closest so far! I'll confirm the ones you got right: 1. Kim 2. Ling 3. Elith 4. Vonnie 5. ??? 6. Valerie 7. ??? 8. ??? 9. ???
Kim and Ling are obviously 1 and 2. I believe you established that Melchior is ace, so he's 7, and he tends to hang out with Elith so maybe Elith is 8? I'll guess 3 is Vonnie so 4 must be Asmodea? Do Elith and Asmodea count as two (three?) separate people? Does Asmodea count as a hero or support now since they've been turned by Vonnie? 5 and 6 could be Hayakawa and Valerie or Enoch and Nod. I have no idea who 9 could be even after a fresh re-read.
The three Asmodeas are all one person, just three bodies with access to different memories, so they're all going to have the same gender and sexual orientation
I feel like wherever Melchior winds up on this, he's going to be mildly surprising.
90% sure 5 and 6 are Dmitri and Alina.
Hint 3: This list of Dark Science characters only includes characters from Dark Science and not any characters who last appeared on my website over 17 years ago.
My brain is busted. I can't remember things well right now. But I wonder if Elith and Asmodea will have different flags at the moment?
They're not different people, they're just on different updates. Asmodea (re?)discovered their true identity back around #158. (But this is about the DC Mini's, I don't even think they exist as independent entities there.)
Vonnie just doesn't neatly fit into any category other than "Vonnie", does she? 😄
