Happy New Year + Tiny Dark Mode update!
Hey all! Happy (belated) New Year and I hope this year and the next and next will be kinder to you :)
First off, I'd like to express my thanks to everyone who downloaded the Chalk'd UI mod and my older mods! ^7^ To give you a quick update, I'm currently in the process of recoloring the leftover UI elements that I didn't get to edit before, as well as updating some of the font colors.
I'm also doing an overhaul over the organization of the mod files to prepare for future game updates. As this mod is, at its core, a UI mod, it will always break when a big game update happens, and doing this re-organization over the files will help with troubleshooting in the future. Expect this upcoming mod update in the next few weeks.
In the meantime, I made this custom TS4 icon for you to download! This is not a game mod, so installation is a bit different than usual.
To install the custom icon (Windows guide):
Download and save the TS4 icon .ico file
Right-click the TS4 desktop shortcut (not the original .exe file found in Bin) and select Properties
Select Change Icon... > Browse... > search for the .ico file you saved
Select Apply & OK, and your desktop icon will get updated! :]
To also apply it to the taskbar shortcut, right-click on the updated desktop shortcut and Pin to Taskbar instead.
For Mac users, you can try following this guide along from the 9toMac site.
I've also updated the Opening Screen .zip file to now include the Chinese language and 3 other screens (located in the 0_Opening screen - English text for Other Languages .package) that I missed. Re-download from the main mod page.
If having one of the packages doesn't work, you can try keeping all packages at once, see if it works, and remove the files one by one as a way to test it out as afaik there's no way to know which screen is used for which game language, outside of the obvious ones. Hopefully this helps for you :)
