quick patch notice + WIP preview
Just wanted to let you all know, with the upcoming patch coming this week, expect a 2-3 weeks delay on UI mod updates since I'll be away during that time and won't be able to work on them 🥲
If you decide to update your game, please remove my UI mods (Chalk'd, Sims 2 & Sims 1, Pastel UIs) as they will break after patch.
and whiiile we wait, have a peek at the two mods I've been working on and off for the last couple of months! It's a comic book style UI meets winXP color scheme/UI I guess (made this when Marvel Tōkon beta was up and felt quite inspired by the design.)
maybe easy to miss but it's a new style for BB gizmo :-) flatter than the previous one I made:
colors are not final and may change down the line since I'm still figuring out the balance 🤔

Will you be updating Clean ui for dx11?
I've tried updating it (newer Reshade versions showed promise that the addon might be more stable) and I managed to make a working config much further than I was before, but unfortunately it still crashes my game for some reason (it'll reload the shaders even when ur not doing anything and that causes the crash) So for now, it's still broken, and instead you can use the KeepUI + RemoveUI shaders as an alternative. Not perfect, but it makes the UI more readable at least.
I miss my pretty UI. I hate the game UI. I like being able to switch out the UI colors when I feel like it

Hi!! I used your Hide CAS UI reshade toggler, and everything works just fine except the phrase "select traits". The text shadow would hide with other HUDs when I pressed the hotkey, but the phrase itself just wouldn't hide no matter what I tried. I just wanna know why and how to fix this. Is it beacause the toggler isn't compatible with new patch? Tyia!! <3
i think they said to take everything out because the patch broke all of it.

Are the BB overrides broken as well? Has anyone else noticed an issue with them?

Thanks for keeping us updated. Do you know anything about font overrides? This is the first update since I started using them, and I don't know if they'll break or not.

Take your time! We can be patient. Also, this new UI scheme reminds me of the Spider-Man game for the Playstation 1. It came out in 2000, and along with the Windows XP vibes is giving me such y2k comic nostalgia. Bless you! 🥹
