SimCity Transport - City Taxi
A simple CC/mod that adds an interactable taxi for your sims to commute with! Each interaction will cost your sim a non-refundable fee (price may vary). Best used with TOOL to have the taxis on standby anywhere in the world.
This is a static object, so there's no animations for the car itself. Your sim will instead jog towards the selected taxi to initiate the travel interaction.
Also included in this set: a vfx taxi mesh override and a new sound override mod that replaces the lot intro/travel sting with the sound of car driving off for better immersion 🚕

I'm curious, would this be possible for a similar mod to take debug cars and make them available in the catalog and interactible? Or is this a thing already that I just haven't heard of? idk about debug cars but Max20 has a bunch of intractable cars to download

first of all, I've been using your sims 2 for sims 4 features for a while!! This is a niche question but thoughts on making like an "uber" car with the uber light in the window (in simlish?) we could use with this same intention?! Just a thought for more modern gameplay. Love all your work! <3

hey i want to palce this in my world but i dont really know how to use TOOL outside of my sims home lot can you teach me how? thank you!!
hey :) so what you can do is: - place the object in buy mode - in live mode, shift select the car > TOOL > toggle active object - once the car object has a green overlay, click anywhere in the world where you want to place it! - to fine-tune the placement, press alt and click where you want to nudge the object to - to disable the green overlay/stop using TOOL, click the car object until it turns normal, or else you'll end up moving it again when you click somewhere - to rotate the obj, go to the TOOL menu again or rotate it beforehand in buymode not required but this mod might be helpful: awingledllama's clickable worlds

OMG you're a true GENIUS! EA will need to hire you to make the Sims 4 look more like Sims 2, but in a modern way, with new features. If you could make a Taxi work this way, how about the train in willow creek? Wow, you have A LOT of talent! If EA hears about you, I'm sure, if they aren't dumb, they will really hire you, to improve the game!
