Mean To Me

Happy Monday, Anomalies. This is another song from my unreleased album Revisions. The rhythm and cadence were inspired by a song my mom and my uncle wrote called "I Do Like It," I believe. She wrote these bomb-ass lyrics: "Lock me in your mind and dedicate some time to me." I loved how jazzy and up-tempo that song was, and when I produced Mean To Me, I emulated that a little bit.

The song isn't a happy one, though. It's about a guy I dated a long periodically time ago who sucked, so I'll leave it at that.

I never played this live, but my band and I had planned to. Then I think I may have scrapped it.
