I love your authentic self! That story gave me all the feels! Thank you for sharing. I used to think my birthday was pretty unique, too, when I was a kid. What a let down to find out it’s really just another day. I was stoked to find out it’s a holiday in France though! I think we all value our uniqueness and we should. We are all beautiful, one of a kind masterpieces. And you’re right, we should take time out and take care of ourselves. I ce across this saying that helped me change my perspective. It said “treat yourself like you’re someone you love.” We do so much for those we care about without a second thought, but can’t fathom the thought of doing something for ourselves. We must do better. I loved the post. It’s always a treat to see them come through. So glad you’re sticking with it in spite of life life-ing.
