How is it the end of my birthday month/Black History Month already??? I vote to add two more days to February 'cause this ain't fair. Who seconds the motion?

Well, she at it again. I absolutely love this song with my whole heart, soul and then some. My friend Stacey and I sang this over and over and over and over in high school and always sigh at the very end. I love how Fiona captures the quintessential sadness of finally letting go of someone and even though it's a romantic relationship she's singing about, it applies to any relationship.

After I shot the first take which no one will ever see, I cried. I barely got the last line out "and in a little while we'll only have to wave" before my face got hot and voice shaky. This song and Pale September always make me tear up and remind me how powerful lyrics, melody and music are.
