Classic Mini Roadmap: New Updates, Manual Tools, and Upcoming Consoles
Updates and New Consoles Are in the Works!
The Download Manager was a feature of the Classic Mini Collection that provided an easy way to source files from a secure and fast server. Now that the server is gone, some things will change. Here is the relevant information:
THE CLASSIC MINI COLLECTION WILL BE UPDATED.
If you used the "Download Collection" feature of the current apps before march 31st:
The app will use your local collection of ROMs, and it will work fine!
If you want to keep these current/old versions, you can continue using them, no issues.
If you want to add games, you will be able to use the tool I’ll be releasing in the next days.
You will be able to just move ROMs and covers from current/old apps to the new versions.
If you did not use the "Download Collection" feature:
The app will try to download from Myrient and will fail.
I’ll be releasing new versions of each Classic Mini that will allow you to just drag and drop your ROMs and covers into folders, open and play, as easy as it sounds!
There will be no Download Manager for new versions; you will have to manually provide ROMs and covers.
The tool to manually add games to current/old versions
It will be released in a couple of days. This will allow you to edit the game list, add new games and covers to any of my current/old apps. Make sure the ROMs and covers have the same corresponding names; otherwise, the game will appear without a cover.
The new versions of the Classic Mini Collection
This will be a cleaner, simpler way to have a mini console-like experience for PC. As usual, it will come with a preconfigured RetroArch for convenience. I will be updating the current/old apps as I have time, the first in line is going to be N64, followed by NES, SNES, and so on!
New Classic Mini Consoles are also planned (PC Engine, PSX, etc.). If you have ideas or recommendations, please let me know!
That's it for now
Remember that a coffee ☕🍰 is always appreciated 🤗!
See you in the next post, stay awesome!

hello, incredible job you are doing here, any chance on cps machines?,neo geo maybe?
Hello! Yeah, I would really like to move on to as many consoles as I can, for now, I'm working on the current apps in order to clean code and remove the non working Myrient integration :)
Hi. I have downloaded all the games but when I try to start any it says ERROR: GAME NOT FOUND ONLINE. I can see all the games downloaded but it thinks it's not. How can I fix it?
If the app says not game found, you did not use the download collection feature correctly, check the folders and see if there are files inside the folder called "Saved Games"
Hi, what about the video saying Myrient is back: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTvSJCTi0Rc
Total clickbait title. It’s actually just a group of users organized to back up the files, and they're launching a website to host the torrents. It’s not the same thing at all, but at least you’ll (hopefully) be able to get the games via torrent now.
I would love to see you create more mini consoles such as GameCube, Neo-Geo, PS1, Atari 2800, 5200 and 7800, Sega Master System, TG-16.
Yes! Right now I'm focusing on updating and fixing the current released consoles (to clean them from Myrient integration) while I start working on the next one!
One suggestion I have would be for one of the next minis to be GameCube
I have a suggestion for a new feature. Press the Home/Guide button on the controller and a pause menu with options for Save State, Load State, and Exit will appear.
