Is there any way to do challenges in multiple languages? There are many great challenges in English, but there are surely players who don't speak English. I think the tracker is a great idea—thanks for that! 😊

I am absolutely in love with this mod!! Legacy play is my main choice and i'm so glad I don't have to go to another app to see all the goals. The only problem I have encountered is that the challenge tracker disappears when I have the UI cheats in my mods folder... Is there any way to fix that?

I am still sort of getting back into the Sims (having been an avid Sims 2 player all those moons ago) - so I'm getting my head around all the packs & mods haha - I held off with the challenge tracker because I was overwhelmed, but actually, having had a nose around - it might actually help me make sense of the game haha. So well done - great job on this! I just had a look through the Challenge Gallery and wanted to share some early thoughts/ideas for future development (I may be missing answers which is very possible lol): 1. I can't 'like' challenges - it requires me to sign it, but I can't see an option to. 2. The packs filter - I ticked the packs I have but some challenges seemed to refer to things from packs I don't have (i.e. Evergreen Harbor in EcoLifestyle?) - the icons are taken away if you filter by packs but it may be useful to have them included so players can double check? 3. May be useful to be able to filter out challenges by language if possible 4. Not sure how I feel about it myself but it may be nice to have a space for ratings/reviews - I just looked through a few and got a tad overwhelmed. There are lots that are similar, but actually how do I even decide between 20 legacy challenges (this may very well just be a me problem :D ) - maybe categorising by theme (i.e. legacy / rags to riches / etc) would help to compare a bit easier ? Very excited to get into some of these, I can also see how for more long-standing players, this adds a tonne of mileage to their game so hats off!

Hi, the tracker is no longer showing up in game for me. I tried re- downloading the tracker and the download was named SimMattically_ChallengeTracker_vRC.

im having an issue where, when i collapse the challenge tracker, it wont show up well again. Tried going into world and back into the household, tried cas, tried build buy and those dont work. I cant track the rest of my goals anymore. not even exiting the game and reentering it works

When I asked about the section for rules, I think I should have said an introduction. Some legacies lilke the occult legacy and sulani siren) require certain traits, or colors, etc. Those are listed in the intro to each generation, not the basic rules of the challenge.

Hello!! This mod is just a GAME CHANGER!!! Subscribed as soon as I heard of it! I managed to make it work once in my game, but then it stopped working, it doesn't show anymore :( I don't know what to do, I followed all the instructions (including the one with the priority files read in resource.cfg)... I like to play the Random Legacy challenge with the rolls, but obviously, I don't know the next generation until I do the rolls. Can we edit the challenge (adding generations or levels as we go?) or does it have to set before you can load it in and can't be changed?

Hello! This is absolutely brilliant, thank you for the amazing work! I do have a question regarding checking off numerical values. Is it possible to do more than 1 point per click? The issue I have is that in the challenge I made, one of the goals is to make x amount of money, and there's a lot of clicks to check off 50,0000 simoleons! :rofl: If not, that is definitely a suggestion I have! Make it so that by, for example, shift + right clicking, you advance more than 1 ^^ Something to make it easier to track money as goals.

i absolutely ADORE this mod and currently using it for legacy challenge i put together! question: if you don't finish all the goals for the generation, is there a way to still move onto the next level even if all goals aren't completed? or do i have to mark them off anyway to be able to see the next level?

I subscribed to be able to get this mod and have been playing for a few days now, and I absolutely love it, this is exactly what I needed. I mainly play legacy challenges and having the goals on a seperate place is time consuming and frustrating. A couple of things I’ve noticed; The challenge menu sometimes glitches and you have to close the aspiration panel and reopen so that it shows again, simply fixed but annoying at times. Also, when you switch onto the next gen and move them out, it ”restarts” the challenge and you have to manually click all goals completed to get to the right gen, so if there’s a way to fix this that’d be great! Overall such an amazing mod and helps so much with gameplay, good job!!

Sort of like, load this challenge for this household, and a different challenge for another household? I'm thinking maybe so you don't have to move files around, you could keep them all in the same folder for when you need to take a break and do something else?

I always get distracted and never finish legacies but this in-game tracker might actually change that for me — this is gold! I rarely sub to Patreons but did just for this! I'm building my own Legacy challenge and the Pack dropdown is great, but I'd love to see a Mod option added alongside it so creators could tag a goal as requiring a specific mod with the name or a link. Would make it so much easier to include optional mod-based goals! I'm working on a personal Modded Legacy

I have tried to find a tumblr link or something for the creators of The Keepsake Chronicals but no luck, so... I will post it here in hopes they see. @Mercredi and @Jaidez03. It is so rare that I find a legacy that I must read the whole thing before jumping into game and starting. This includes even my own challenge. Usually by gen 3, I am like yeah ok, I get it let's play till I get bored. But this challenge..... the story is so rich and so deep that I could not stop reading it and I just want you ro know that I am in love with this challenge and cannot wait to start. Hey Matt, I just uploaded a legacy challenge to the gallery for review, and I have a question - in that challenge players usually need to complete goals/aspirations for both the main sim and their heir as a child/teen. Is it possible to see goals for the next gen if there are still unfinished goals for the current gen?

Hi! I'm sorry if this question has been answered elsewhere, but is there a way to "skip forward" in a challenge to your current level? I am on Gen 24 of rosannatxt's Pack Legacy challenge, and I created the challenge within this mod and added it to my game. It looks great so far, I really like it. When I first started, I only added my current generation and my next generation, since it is time consuming to transfer each generation of the challenge over to the creator tool and I knew I could edit it later and replace it in my mods folder. Well now I've started adding the previous generations in case I want to play it later or maybe someone else wants to use it but now in my current save, it shows the Gen 1 goals. I thought about using the complete milestone aspiration cheat, but it might complete my current aspiration, which really wouldn't be a big deal if that would work to skip forward to Gen 24. (I only have gen 1, 2, 3, 24, and 25 in my challenge creator file so far). Thank you so much for your amazing mods and hard work!

One thing I would like to see (if possible to implement): When the goals appear, you can't view the overview of the generation. That's where I've put the traits, aspiration etc for the gen. You can only view the goals once the challenge has started.

Having a blast with this thing! I have a question: Are you supposed to be able to have more than one challenge in the mod folder at a time? Or can you only have one?

Hi Matt, I have questions. Do you have a channel through which I can ask them? And I'm sorry if these have been answered elsewhere - I tried to see if they had. (1) Is it imperative to configure the load order of mods for the challenge to show up (i.e. will I not see the challenge without doing that)? (2) How do I access/see the challenge in my game once the package file is in my mods folder? (3) Can we only have one challenge package file in the folder at one time? I've tried changing the resource file and still nothing in the game. I'm giving up for now. I don't know what I'm doing wrong (and it IS me), and I also don't know enough to know where to fix it / what to do to fix it.

HI! I am having a problem with certain challenges showing up. I have 5 or 6 in the game and only one is showing up for my sim to participate in. I did the thing where you want your mod to load first by editing the resource file. Im sure I did that bc the mod shows up but the challenges aren't. Well 1 is, lol. the others aren't. I hope Im not asking something someone asked. I've been looking but I cant find the answer. 🫶🏽 Im so excited to use this mod, I stayed up till daybreak tryna figure out what was doing wrong. Hello! First, I just want to say this is such a creative concept. It’s one thing to come up with an idea like this, but actually bringing it to life is really impressive. I’ve been experimenting with the challenge creator for a while now, and I’ve noticed that when it comes to challenges with branching outcomes, the system feels a bit limiting. I was wondering if there might be a way for players to choose different routes within a single challenge? For example, I created a challenge where how well (or poorly) Generation 1 completes their goals directly impacts Generation 2, determining which storyline they follow. The idea is to make the experience feel more dynamic, so not every player ends up with the same “story.” I realize this kind of structure is more complex and probably pretty niche, so I completely understand if it’s not something that can be implemented. I just thought it was worth asking!

However, I’ve followed all the steps — I moved the challenge into the tracker and I have both files in my Mods folder, but the mod still isn’t working. Do you have any idea what might be causing this? I should also mention that I’m playing the game in my native language — could that be the issue? (I doubt it, but honestly I’m not sure what else could be causing the mod not to work.)

Hey Matt, first of all, a huge thank you! This is an amazing mod, a real game changer, and it works perfectly in my game even with the UI cheats!! I have a question: is it possible to make level groups stay collapsed after all the goals from that stage have been completed? Or is it something the game doesn't allow to change? For example, I created different groups representing life stages (YA, Adult, Elder), with different goals for the same generation. I completed all the goals for the YA stage and folded that group in the game. However, when switching to inventory or needs etc., and then back to the challenge tab, all groups are expanded again. Hopefully, I made my question clear :)

This is so amazing! I always struggle keeping track of my sims challenges, and this is going to make my life so much easier. wow this really changes gameplay!

I spent the day plugging in my legacy into the creator (I am old and it takes me a few tries lol) , got it ready to upload for the challenge gallery but wanted to test it first but I am not sure how to assign it to my sim. It doesn't show up anywhere. I checked aspirations, the telephone, sim cheats etc but did not see any option to assign it or any trace of it. Not sure what I am doing wrong and i have updated to V2

Small update on the Challenge Tracker: Early Access V2 is out! This version fixes the missing code for optional goals. They are now truly optional and feature new visuals, making them much easier to spot. ____ The Challenge Creator has also been tweaked to include selected icons directly in the Challenge file. I realized that icons from specific packs aren't included in the base game files, which was causing a placeholder llama image to appear without the required DLC installed.

This is just incredible. I just started oshin's new challenge and I tried to make Gen 1 with the Challenge creator. Everything is so intuitive and it works flawlessly in game too! You're really the goat, this is life changing!
