In 2X5, when Maomao first goes to the clinic, it’s mentioned that the clinic is close to the washhouse. Also, Shisui was wearing the same uniform as Xiaolan. As for why, you’ll have to wait until the next episode to find out XD They usually only give you part of the answer, though. For the rest, you have to read between the lines of the dialogue and piece the different clues together yourself.
Lakan interrogating shishou, and then dropping his guard by acting love crazed, and then hitting him with the green grape juice test when his guard is lowered (similar to the colorblind door test too, implying that he's a descendant of the first emperess mother when others failed the test before in the doors rooms) : that's why he's the fox of the east indeed! Meesh is right, Lakan isn't the colorblind. We know that because the "red balsam nail polish" that maomao and other girls were wearing before would get noticed by him and he'd say "RED" nail polish, so he was clearly testing Shishou and shishou didn't correct him, so his theory about him was tested, you can see in Lakan's actions that he was playing Shishou, almost like a strategy Go/Chess game right there on that table.
