Sync Guidelines
Our videos are edited in a watch-along format, which means you’ll need your own copy of the film or show to sync with us.
We will always count down 3… 2… 1… START — press play exactly when we say “Start” to stay in sync.
To follow copyright laws and give you the best viewing experience, our reactions must be paired with your own copy of the content. We take copyright very seriously, which is why we do not provide full uncut episodes or movies. Even if you see other creators doing it, that doesn’t make it legal — sharing full studio content crosses into a copyright gray area that we’re not willing to risk for our channel.
Here are some recommended ways to watch along with ease:
• React Sync (Recommended):
The easiest way to watch along is by using React Sync! Simply load our reaction, connect your streaming platform, and React Sync will help keep both videos aligned for a smoother, more immersive experience.
• Dual Monitor Setup:
If you’re on a PC, using two monitors allows you to keep the reaction and your show/movie visible side by side.

19:26 There are two things from Season 1, when Fengming poisoned Consort Lishu, that might be worth keeping in mind. First, murdering a high-ranking consort was punishable by death, so it's probably safe to assume that murdering an imperial child would also be a capital offense. Second, Season 1 also mentions that when someone commits a crime, their family can be punished as well. My interpretation is that Lihua deliberately said Shin had insulted her mistress and had her expelled from the palace to keep their family from being implicated. (Or maybe she was simply kind-hearted.) After all, disrespecting the consort you serve is a much less serious offense than murdering an imperial child. That's just my interpretation.
One other thing about Shin, in case you didn't clock it: During the very FIRST episode of the show, when maomao wrote the note to the concubines about the white powder being poisonous to the baby, and left it tied to a rose on the window for Lihua? It was SHIN that saw the note and threw it away and hid it from Lihua, you can see her in the scene even though they didn't name drop her at the time. So Shin intentionally hid away maomao's lifesaving note from Lihua and therefore ensured that the emperor's son died since Lihua didn't get the memo from a third party maomao and just thought that gyokuou was "taunting her" since there was no proof of the matter... because again, Shin hid that note and was probably the one whispering in Lihua's ears to ignore the non-noble "lower lifes from other pavillions"... and since Shin is also the one who hand picked the maids for lihua, it would also explain why those maids were originally vain and ignoring rules about the white powder too, because they follow Shin's lead, and she's been intentionally sabotaging Lihua from the very first episode. The show does a really good job of "show don't tell" and they plant seeds about the future episodes and even seasons VERY VERY early on, and don't even tell you about them until much later, or on a second rewatch :) What we DONT know yet (explicitly) is how does a random lady in waiting Shin know enough about the white powder and scented oils etc to know that they can be detremental for pregnancies and can equate to "abortion" drugs/meds/consumables.
