Just watched the reaction video. I knew D was going to get emotional with the grandma's death, and justifibly so. I am so happy they did time jumps. Though, the 4 year time jump should have come after Oat and Nene went on their first date. That didn't make sense. They wait 4 years to go out once? Nah. I believe that Rak and Pam waited 4 years to get married that made sense. Love the show. It's 100% in my Top 5 with Loyal Pin and Roller Coaster and Heart Code and Hometown Romance. I agree with D that to be ranked in Top 3 or 5 the show needs to have every episode hit. I think there are a couple episodes of Enemies with Benefits that were a bit filler otherwise that'd be in my Top 5.... The Top shows that have the most hype for this upcoming year is Moonshadow (EmiBonnie), Pls Love (LenaMiu from Safe Zone) and Ditto (Milk Love). They are either done or almost done with their filming. By Your Side (ShellyPundao) has their pilot but not sure when they are starting production. Same with Lunar Secret(GinJay) and Her(Namtan Film). Love in Bloom(TungpangJessie) from Heart Code just started their prep... Love Echos has a new pairing so we will see on that. Bake Love Feeling(ViewMim) has been pretty quiet. So stuff is out there. But ready to go soon will be Moonshadow, Pls Love and Ditto. I do hope you guys will do Heart Code next. Give people who complain about only GMMTV being won in the polls less to talk about. Plus the show is so good. Thanks again!

Us is a hard watch for me, idk it’s either the pace or the storyline but the thing is that Us doesn’t grab me BUT Emybonnie managed to make me fall in love with them regardless, there’s no other pairing that made me like them even though I didn’t like the series… I can’t wait for Moonshadow!

I'm about to rewatch all the reactions from the beginning. Every time they start kissing, after a while I have to look away because it's genuinely overwhelmingly cute and I can't take it lol I love this ending too. Everything just falls in to place and it just feels natural. Also, I love how the mom embraced Nene like her own kids and Nene has a family like she wanted. That scene at the school is also so stinkin' cute.

Thank you so much M and D as always. Us the series one of the best GL series a masterpiece and loved by many. The script and cinematography and characters are all perfect. GMMTV does cook and serve, i really loved how they addressed mental issues, depression and others. A suggestion only why not YOU guys choose a series you want to react and one from poll fan choice.

Oh, also this is just a thought, but i'm pretty sure that noodle scene was actually set before they all moved to the country house with Yai. Rak gave up all her jobs and moved in with them at first, remember? I'm pretty sure she couldn't have afforded to keep her apartment with no job, especially since i think she went to university for 4 years after Yai's funeral. I'm pretty sure she, Kawi and their mother would have either got their own place (2 doctor's salaries, seems viable) OR they would have stayed with Nene long-term. IDK, could be wrong, but that seems more likely to me.

I truly think that this show has the best finale of all GLs. The pacing, the way they handle the sad and difficult parts with genuine openness and understanding but without shying away from them, the way that the show takes its time and really wraps everything up nicely without making stuff too easy or saccharine? It's pure brilliance, a real masterclass in writing a gentle yet compelling story. No one gets forgotten (except the dad in his empty house, lol). Even the café crew show up. But, and this is the most important part for me, there's also no "and they lived happily ever after" moment. What i mean is that when we reach the end, stuff doesn't just stop. Everyone's lives are still ongoing, doing new things. ViewMim's characters are just starting to date, Rak has just graduated college and they're recently married, living in the house they first moved into with Yai, volunteering at school, and just starting their life together. We end in motion, giving the impression that these characters will go on living their lives after we part from them. It's my favourite way to end a story 🥹❤️ I'm so happy you finally got around to watching this show and understanding why it's so beloved. It's a deep introspection on real lives, and how we can make them beautiful just by loving and taking care of each other. It's idealized, but not unrealistic. It ends happily, but authentically. It's steadily paced, but it's never slow. Honestly this show is a work of art, it's one of the ones that will stick with me forever. If i live to 80, i hope i'll still be able to watch it 😅 I have to say, my top GL rankings are pretty similar to Dee's. I would certainly put Us, Pin, and Clairebell in. I think my list is really made of shows that are firmly in the GL genre, but transcend it through storytelling and characters. I would add Petrichor, which i know you guys started and didn't really vibe with, but by the end of Petrichor, you really see that it's also beyond just a GL. The performances are stellar, and the heartbreak is so palpable. I would also consider adding Hometown Romance to this list actually. Other than the little blip at the end with Si's behaviour feeling a bit uncharacteristic, the whole show was just really well written and put together. Emotionally impactful, beautifully romantic, and probably the funniest comedy GL we've had too. I absolutely know what Meesh is saying about Affair and Gap though. Maybe they're not on my list of "the best", but definitely "most iconic" or maybe "most influential". Those early days GLs that had the budget of a pack of gum and whatever's in their sock drawer, but they're so addictive and so watchable. (I would add Blank to that list too, but ik people have baggage about that show so... 😅) Anyway, I really loved your reaction to this show, i am so glad that you appreciated it. As for new GLs, PLEASE consider just making an executive decision and watching Poisonous Love. You guys really want to watch it, and while it can be toxic AF in the beginning, one of the performances towards the end is BAR NONE the best performance i've seen in GL. Honestly i really think you should watch 3 GLs at a time; 1 currently airing, 1 already finished, and 1 that's unpopular on the polls but interesting to you 😂You can call it GL discovery and introduce everyone to new shows they definitely haven't seen because they would be voting for them if they had. Poisonous Love, Queendom, Dangerous Queen, Player, Denied Love, Broken of Love. Just throw them on a clicker wheel and off you go 😂

This series was so good. Loved your reactions. This episode in particular, I teared up SO much watching it the first time. I don’t cry, but this one got me straight in the heart, the sad moments & the heartfelt moments. I cried again watching this reaction too, but it was worth it.

This is genuinely like one of my favoriteeeeee GLs. I think one of the reasons im so excited for Moonshadow is because it's the same director and the same writers for Us and Love Design and so Im like wow Moonshadow is probably gonna have some really solid depth and subvert a lot of easy GL tropes. Also fun fact for y'all. This director and I believe some of the writers from us also did 23.5 so yea this director is really known for liking depth and storytelling

EmiBonnie shot up to one of my favourite pairings after this show, they are both so good, and I can’t wait for their new show. Really happy you enjoyed this series, it’s one of the best. If you’re planning for the rest of the year, LenaMiu’s new show Pls Love will be out in September. The teaser came out 2 weeks ago and has already hit over 4m views! A reaction to that would be amazing, it’s certainly different from their previous show. I’m enjoying watching EWB again with you both. As for the next show, another one which has already finished airing would be great. Waiting a week for every upload is killing me, lol. Petrichor is still in my top 5, so that would be my choice, I’ve hardly seen anyone react to it. You got chemistry, a great story, spice, good side characters, it’s really good.

You would think the fact that this show can be so sad would juxtapose how much of a comfort show it is. But really it's perfectly balanced. I appreciate in Us the series how it's not just a story about romantice love, but also a story about familial and friendship love. So great to be able to watch this series again with you both and all the viewers. This really was a beautiful ending episode to the series. I think this is the first time I’ve seen Dee cry so much. It deserved every tear that was dropped. And still there was so much joy and playfulness to experience in this final ep as well. The time jumps are perfect for what happens as it gives it the realities of life. Every character in this series deserves a standing ovation. 👏🏽

The writing in this show is amazing, but it would be for nothing without the tremendous acting, direction, and editing that brought the script to life. Today I want to give a shout-out to Penpetch Benyakul, the actor who played the dad Khem. He was the perfect narcissist here, but also played a good dad in The Earth and was great in that, too. I hadn't watched the full series since it came out, so it was fun watching the whole thing again and not just the EmiBonnie scenes... Hopefully there will be another GL to fill the spot now that US has ended. I honestly think HeartCode would fill that role for you and us. It has heart, humor, drama, action and amazing chemistry and intimacy from the leads. In this day and age of GL, any couple that gets another series is pretty elite and they are in pre-production of their 2nd series. Plus its only 7 episodes so it's a very quick and fun watch. No pressure, but I think based off of your love of US and EWB that you'd really enjoy HeartCode. Thanks again!

Loved going through the journey that is US with you. This till this day, is in my opinion, one of the best GL series.
