I think apotecary diary and spy family are completely different in terms of rankings: apothecary has a ramp up process similar to AoT. It's like trying to judge if an anime show is overall better just from the first 6 episodes of AoT vs the whole show haha but that being said, spy family makes me giggle, ApoDiaries makes me intrigued!
The height measuring at the beginning reminded me of the attention to detail in the Manga, if you measure Anya throughout the story, you'd never notice naturally, but she gets a few pixels taller every so often. The author is letting us literally watch Anya grow up. Such a minor detail, but when I first noticed it, as a girl dad, it hit me in the chest. Yor as Mother Reaper are always my favorite parts. The woman would fight god for Anya, and win. Both the sub and dub VAs for Yor did so good throughout this show. They both are perfect for Yor's range from "not a thought in that head" to "righteous fury of death". "I AM THAT GIRL'S MOTHER." went just as hard in English. A wild Handler appeared, lvl 99. Sylvia Sherwood is not to be messed with. As much as I love the family, the side characters in this show are equally as great. Becky is the homie, ride-or-die. SO glad you guys are onto Spy Family!!!! It's something special.
