Sync Guidelines

Videos are edited in watch-along style format, so you will need your own copy of the film/show to sync with us.

*We will count down 3...2...1... START. Press play right when we say "Start" for accurate syncing. We are still in the process of figuring out time codes*

To ensure compliance with copyright laws and to enhance your viewing experience, our reaction videos require synchronization with your own copy of the content. Here's a detailed guide to seamlessly sync your viewing:

  • Pausing and Playing: Due to the length of the movie, we may have taken a couple of pauses/breaks. This means you may need to sync up your copy of the movie/show again. We will give a verbal countdown such as "3, 2, 1... Start." You should click "start" on your copy of the show to sync again. We tried to minimize any cuts/pauses but just in case you need to re-sync, you can follow the subtitles from the video and sync with your copy.

  • Dual Monitor Setup: Utilize a dual monitor PC setup for simultaneous viewing of both screens.

  • Split Screen Viewing: Employ the split-screen function on your device to watch the reaction and your show/movie side by side.

  • Connectivity Options: Consider Chromecast/screen-sharing or HDMI connection to a TV, allowing for a larger display of one screen while using another device for the reaction video.

These methods facilitate a connected and immersive reaction viewing experience, ensuring you're perfectly in sync with our content. 馃槉

A little late, but I remember when I first watched this episode, as it first started, I'm not gonna lie, I was kind of thrown off and was questioning the story beats/choices, I don't know why because holy crap that episode turned into a masterpiece like you guys said lol. It was actually so well done, I felt like I absorbed so much story within that 40-45 mins, literally felt like a legit movie. Just the way they were able to demonstrate essentially 2 different points in time, plus the whole onryo play, all the while connecting to one another, is just masterful. Even her background story is left ambiguous, we basically never find out who snitched on Mizu, which is pretty effective for her arc cause regardless, she can't trust anyone. Literally became one of my episodes ever!

I get that too! This episode is an emotional rollercoaster. keeping parts of Mizu鈥檚 past ambiguous just made it hit even harder. Easily one of the best episodes, no question. Thanks for watching! 馃槉鉂わ笍

I'm pretty sure her mom was the one who turned Mizu in. You might have noticed that right before the samurai showed up she was smoking opium again. They hadn't been giving her money for it. She said she sold herself, but I think she sold out Mizu. Mikio leaving Mizu to die because she hurt his ego was the final piece needed for her to become what she is.

You didn't see this one coming, did you? 馃槈Easily one f the best episodes of everything I have ever watched. 馃槏 It adds sooo much to Mizu's story to know (and see) that she once had a happy life and a choice apart of revenge. But then "Love.... poisened by betrayal" ..馃槶 After this I felt even more connected to her and every pain she receives feels double.

20:50 , "it's just non-stop." It really was, wasn't it. BEST ... EPISODE ... EVER.

The Real beauty of this Magnificent episode is how well the writers encapsulated multiple stories in the play. Having both the Bride and the Ronin represent parts of her internal dilemma, was just writing Gold. This episode is a Masterclass in story telling. I believe this episode actually won awards. Also, don't be too quick to assign blame. The story is purposefully left vague. So many people blame Mizu's husband, but in truth, as you will discover, the situation is Much, much more elaborate than you know. I have a feeling we will learn more about the true reason for the confrontation on the farm in later seasons. I really hope we get more seasons. Also, little side note, but if you were watching, outside the first house she was stabbed at, there was a little bird with a clutch of eggs in its nest. That bird looked very similar tonthe bird Mizu killed in ep. 4. And, did you notice the cloak Mizu has been wearing since ep. 1? Did you notice who else wore that cloak in this episode? Also, pay attention to that Phoenix, as the symbol does show up throughout the series.

When she was walking down the path asking people for help after being stabbed, the woman with the baskets and her daughter were the woman and child from episode one outside the gates of Kyoto.
