You should also check out the opening ceremony for 2018, it has KDA in it. It also has the song Rise, and I recommend you watch the 2018 opening ceremony version of the song before seeing the 2023 opening ceremony version but that's just me.
Yer Chrissy Costanza is the type of performer who likes to know what she's creating music for, so she played LoL before signing on to perform for them and fell in love with it and eventually Riot's other game Valorant. And yes, you noticed her signature Chrissy bend, she does that in every live performance. She also made songs for the English dub of MHA and most recently Final Fantasy XIV.
2022 was the best world 2 legends facing each other this video on youtube show it best: Worlds 2022 Finals Team Introductions + Hype Video | League of Legends Esports Moments
Yeah Chrissy Costanza is Against the currents frontwoman, so even though you wouldnt notice from the title she did both legends never die and Phoenix, she did. She also streams sometimes and is a big league player. I hope they get her a song for Arcane
All of the ceremonies are good just comes down to preferences. 2019 has the more popular songs but I feel like 2022 and 23 has better performances and visual effects. 2022 has Lil Nas x performing star walking and 2023 has New Jeans performing Gods. I'm one of those people who really disliked star walking as an anthem but the performance at the ceremony was dope.
OMG YESS!!!! Loved your reaction to this (and to the other LoL vids). As others said 2022 and 2023 are also worth watching imo
imo 2018, 2022 and 2023 are all worth watching. 2017, 2019 and 2021 you have already seen and 2020 just isn't good sadly
Covid effect
While 2019 is the best, I do think 2022 and especially 2023 are also worth watching. And since you liked the making of docu-series for Arcane, you might enjoy the behind-the-scenes video for this performance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyX6MRs506M.
You two should totally check out the 2023 opening ceremony, I think you both would love it.
