This month continues the deVELL Kitchen from last month, with a focus on appliances. I wanted to create a seamless, built-in look — but that comes with a technical challenge called shaders.
Here’s a quick explanation: most objects use the “phong” shader, which responds to all the light sources in the room and supports animations — like when fridge, oven, or dishwasher doors open.
Seamless items like counters and cabinets, however, use different shaders that get their lighting from the floor or wall. This makes them blend in beautifully, but they don’t support animations.
And that’s the tricky part: the two shader types look slightly different in-game. But to create a kitchen that’s both functional and seamless, I had to use both — one for animations, the other for that smooth, connected finish.
I managed to create a built-in fridge and dishwasher, but for the best look, you may need to play around a bit with lighting and placement in the room. There’s no perfect solution — just a bit of creative adjustment.
You’ll also get a few oven options this month — the AVA series includes both a single-tile and a two-tile version. If you prefer something sleeker, there’s also a built-in double oven (needs Dream Home Decorator) and gas hob.
To round it out, I’ve added matching cabinets for standalone fridges, a plain counter for the dishwasher, and a tall cabinet for the double oven. And to accessorise, you’ll find the deVELL sink and a decorative pot filler — perfect finishing touches for your kitchen.

I love this entire set! I use it in all my builds. Sadly, I'm just now noticing that there is no microwave. It'd be really cool to have one that went into a slot as the oven does.
I can't find the built in ovens, do you know what its called to look up?

I love your content it's beautiful. But do you realize how much you're violating terms of service because you put your stuff in early access for over 3 months? Do you not care? I'm genuinely asking because you expect people to follow your TOU and everybody follows it out of respect for you but why can't you follow EA's policy? They have a 3 week guideline policy for content creators and I know you know this.
EA’s policy allows early access for a “reasonable amount of time” — there’s no three-week rule. I follow their guidelines, and all my content becomes free. https://help.ea.com/en/articles/the-sims/the-sims-4/mods-policy/ I invest a huge amount of time and work into creating these sets, so I manage my releases in the way that’s sustainable for me.
I can't tell you how much I've been loving your estate series as it's been coming out, all my builds have been covered in the stunning wall plants, and two super niche things that I've been wanting to have in the game are the toilet with the raised tank that you made and now the aga of my dreams 😭 I can't wait to use it all together, thank you so so much for your incredible artistry, I love all the CC you create and one day I hope to be able to actually support you financially
