🎉 MindWare Version 0.3.8 (Supporters Beta 3)

This supporters beta continues the Aegis storyline with a new dream sequence, a new Cipher conversation, and several fixes and stability improvements.

After the Aegis firmware-installation visit, the first night brings a new dream connected to what happened there. The following day, after several normal passage changes, you’ll also have a short IM convo with Cipher about the agreement with Aegis.

This is one of the most media-heavy dream sequences in the game so far, using nearly 80 images and videos. It also introduces a new layered, full-viewport slideshow effect that gradually builds several visuals on top of one another. I find the effect especially effective at conveying AVA’s growing influence over the main character’s mind.

This update also includes fixes for several issues where minigames, story sequences, delayed mobile actions, or completed bug reports could continue running after their screen had closed. Older saves should also recover more safely from incomplete dream sequences and still receive certain one-time dreams when appropriate.

It also adds a dismissible advisory when the browser version is running from an unofficial third-party website. Unofficial copies can be modified, outdated, or missing files, so the advisory links players directly to the supported online version at https://playmindware.com/ and the official downloads hub at https://playmindware.com/downloads.

Download:

The latest supporter build is available through the official downloads hub:

https://playmindware.com/downloads

Sign in with Patreon or SubscribeStar, then open the supporter section to download either the complete archive or the smaller HTML-only update.

The full archive includes the game, images, audio, and other required files. The HTML-only package is for supporters who already have the media folders and only need the updated game file.

Extra Options / Supporter Access:

No password is needed. Use the Patreon or SubscribeStar activation option in Extra Options.

If the new build doesn’t appear immediately, use the Update button in Extra Options to check for the latest supporter content.

What’s New:

New Content:

  • Added: New post-Aegis visit dream sequence (triggered on the first night after the Aegis firmware-installation visit).

  • Added: New Cipher chat about the ongoing Aegis deal (triggered the following day after 5–10 normal passage changes).

  • Added: An in-game warning now appears when the browser version is running on an unofficial third-party website, with links to the official online version and downloads.

Improvements:

  • Improved: Content Maps and several long-running activities run more smoothly without changing rewards, timing, or behavior.

  • Improved: Supporter sign-in and downloads recover more cleanly from temporary service problems, and new supporter builds are checked more carefully before appearing in the download hub.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed: Minigames, story sequences, delayed mobile scrolling, and completed bug reports no longer keep acting after their screen has closed.

  • Fixed: Trix's supply-closet encounters now wait for later workdays, and daily phone-job cleanup keeps working on future days.

  • Fixed: Older saves recover more safely from incomplete dreams and can still receive the one-time alley dream after its intended day.

  • Fixed: Supporter sign-in now recognizes the correct service and tier more reliably when multiple supporter accounts or subscriptions are present.

  • Fixed: Stray tag text no longer appears in the Find the Creep in the Women's Toilets job description.

What’s Next:

With Aegis now gathering the data they need, it’s time to focus on the other storylines that need to be wrapped up or advanced before the extraction takes place. Next week, I’d like to advance the latex maid money-earning side quest and add some new content with Trix.

Thank you for your continued support, and I hope you enjoy Beta 3!

Nice, looking forward to giving it a spin. HTML only upgrade is great but I think beta3 needed some media not in beta2, so I ended up doing the full download anyway. I appreciate it's an awkward one to solve. I for one would welcome Patreon gated ssh access to a server hosting all the files so we could rsync against new release folders... Hopefully you have less terrible ideas.

I don’t think there’s anything technically preventing me from automatically generating an update package containing only new and changed files, then uploading it alongside the full ZIP. That could be a good middle ground between downloading the entire release and using the HTML-only update. I'll get it done as soon as my Codex usage resets 😁

Cool upgrade. I assume for now that hacking Drakes computer, swapping Rays Collosal Jolt for Feminizing pills, as well as waitning for Aegis to contact you tasks are on hold for future updates?

I wouldn’t say they’re on hold—more that they’re on my to-do list for upcoming content.
