WAIFUFACTORY – Refactoring and Current Progress
We’re actively working on WaifuFactory v0.4.0, and this update is going to be massive.
Right now, we’re doing a complete refactor of the entire project. The old code was written more like a prototype, without thinking about future updates. We’re rebuilding the game from the ground up, making huge changes to gameplay and other systems. There’s still a lot of work ahead, but so far, the refactor has uncovered and fixed many critical issues.
I can’t promise a massive jump in performance, but I can assure you the code is now optimized as much as possible. The game’s interface is gradually evolving too, becoming more intuitive and enjoyable for players. You might be a little surprised by how much is changing—but our goal is to make a truly great game.
