On another note, since the person who upsold this poor guy was a PA, I wonder if his supervising physician was ever called out? He would have been practicing under an actual MD’s license and with his/her approval.
I always hated PAs and the AAPA — their representative organization. This just confirms my feelings about them. I’d choose an NP over a PA any day!
Is no one going to talk about the fact that the largest punitive damages awarded for medical malpractice is for loss of a penis? People have suffered far greater loss of physical function, like full or partial paralysis, because of medical malpractice. But a dead penis on an otherwise healthy man? We need to send a message
That's a great point. On second listen, I caught that he was a 66yo male. "loss of future earning capacity"...? Being treated as a test subject would be more accurate.
