this mod adds a "take time to remember" action to graves, featuring custom animations in three different poses.
requires the xml injector
base game compatibleupd. march 20, 2026:
- added a positive coping effect (ep "life and death");
- improved autonomy for the interaction.
upd. sep. 6, 2025: i fixed the issue that could trigger LE! and now this mod works with the add-on that lets you change animation type for each sim individually.
upd. may 11, 2024: i've added an action to the graves and urns of occult sims, as well as to the new graves and gravesites introduced in the ep "life and death".
the action is added to:
the grave or urn that appears after a sim's death;
decorative graves;
custom graves from the mod "It’s all grave-y" by RVSN (cool mod for creating beautiful cemeteries).
the action will always be available, even after you release the ghost to the other world.
once the action ends, the sim will receive the following buff:

p.s. I made this mod because one of my sims passed away, and the game’s animations didn’t convey the sadness I felt. additionally, I wanted loved ones to have the ability to spend time remembering the deceased sim for the rest of their lives.

hello, i would like to ask if u know any mods that might conflict with this one because the option is not showing up to me (my xml is updated) I made my sim go visit her bff house where her urn is after a sudden death but there was only the normal options :(

all of your mods are amazing and are must haves in my game, thank you for all that you do! i noticed that the take time to remember action doesn't show up on tombstones and urns of occult sims that have passed away, only human sims. would you by any chance think of adding the interaction to their gravestones in the future as well if you wouldn't mind? again thank you!
