A slight change to the versioning system.

Hey gang, I've been thinking about version numbers lately.

As well know, 1.9 is coming soon and the current latest version is 1.85.

Where does that leave us afterwards? 2.0? Lustiest Lair Expanded 2.0 doesn't really make much sense does it? It feels like it'd be reserved for something huge, something mind-blowing, like it's an entire sequel or possible a version of LLE for Darkest Dungeon 2 (which I'm not ruling out for the future, but I have no current plans to make).

Instead, the next major update after 1.9 will be 1.10. We're gonna do it minecraft style.

Also, test versions are gonna be able to go over 9. For instance, the next test versions could be:

  • 1.86 (or maybe 1.8.6?)

  • 1.87 (or maybe 1.8.7?)

  • 1.88

  • 1.89

  • 1.810

  • 1.811

  • And once they're finished, 1.9.

Does all that make sense? is it clear enough? Let me know down below.

Kindly,
Ancestress

Not only does it make sense, it's what I assumed the plan was all along

the 1.9 look like a 2.0 to me

Man, that new system reminds of my childhood. Playing hide and seek and going full decimal on the counting, to give the fat kid in my neighborhood more time to hide

So would it go all the way up to 1.899, then 1.9?

Past 1.8.99, if we end up in that insane position (we wont), would be 1.8.100
