Meet the 3DL SnapTurtle

Happy June!

This chunky little guy is inspired by an alligator snapping turtle—spiky, bumpy, grumpy… and somehow still cute 😂

For this design, I tried something a little different from my usual articulation setup. The head, shell, legs, and tail are all printed separately and connected with ball joints, giving him a lot of movement and posing options.

This is my first time testing this style of assembly, so I’d really love to hear what you think of it.

I had a lot of fun designing all the rough shell textures and little spikes on this one.
