The Lighting plugin causes crashes when doing World of Trucks contracts and only when reaching specific road segments. Winsock error 10054/10061. Removing the plugin, going past the problematic road segment, getting the plugin back on works. I suppose it's related to the license checks

Leaving this here in case it helps others (see posts 2 days earlier) - tried again to get my license key today, didn't work. Checked my Patreon settings for privacy. Found I was hiding my email details from creators I'm subscribed to. The login for SnowyMoon states that you have to share such details, but I didn't realise the setting was wrong. Changed the setting and was able to get the license key. Problem solved. My fault. Cheers!

I currently have the newest game version 1.61 and snowy moon 2.5.9 and rehade 6.5. everthing works great. if i uninstall and delete every file, then install, and put lightningv2 in the x64, it wont launch. but i can take my backup and put in x64, and it works again. what am i missing here?

Hello Snowy Moon, Thank you for creating such an amazing product. It makes the game feel much more realistic. I play in VR using an HP Reverb G2 headset, and the experience is truly fantastic and immersive, even though I am not using maximum graphics settings because my GPU is only an RTX 3080. However, I still have one issue when playing in VR. Inside the truck cabin, the windshield makes the view ahead appear noticeably darker, which can be quite distracting. If I increase the brightness to make the cabin view comfortable, then the road, sky, and other bright or white objects become overexposed and washed out. As far as I know, version 1.60 improves the cabin visibility somewhat by making the interior view look closer to the outside environment. Would it be possible to add a feature to Light2 that reduces this dark and gloomy effect for version 1.59 and older versions as well? I noticed that adjusting the Surface setting makes the colors seen through the cabin look more vibrant and less dull, but it does not actually make the image brighter. What I am hoping for is a way to reduce the excessive darkness without causing the outside scenery to become overexposed. Thank you for your time and for all your hard work. The light improvement is unfriendly for black metallic paintjobs, it destroyed whole texture of the entire black paint surface, I mixed a metallic paint that is black with a hint of red, but after using the Light Improvements, the red part comletely disappeared.

Your paid lighting mod has a texture issue when you choose lighting option D (default setting). It creates weird patches on the roads everywhere. The other lighting options don't trigger it.

You need to do something to find out that there's a SnowyMoon update without having to go to the website. For example, in version 1.58, the version of SnowyMoon I had wasn't compatible, and it doesn't say that there's a newer compatible version.

Hello, I just brought this yesterday and worked fine, I do use other mods and since trying to figure out the problem with crashing I've unistalled all DLCs, Mods and went through all the steps to try fix the issue however, still crashing. As soon as I removed the SnowyMoon from my Files the game runs fine. I've not had a problem until now. Is there any way I can fix this?

Hi! I'm having trouble achieving a wet road effect during rain. The road appears dry. Additional mods that may be affecting this include Promods Europe and Realistic Rain. Another problem is a noticeable SUDDEN change in road lighting when driving at sunrise and sunset. Every 3-4 seconds, there's a subtle, visible change. This is visible on the Lightning setting from A to C; Deaflight D has no effect and the change is smooth. Is this a known issue?

Hola, compre el Snowy Moon por 6 meses, confiando mucho en el mod porque me parece increible, lo compre por itch.io el punto es, que cuando me meto a TruckersMP el ping me sube nose a 400ms pero mi internet es demasiado bueno tengo 800 megas de subida y bajada pero si quito el mod me baja a 140ms este mod el snowy moon me encanta demasiado y agradeceria mucho si me ayudaras a solucionar este error porque ya hice varias pruebas y lo que me aumenta el ping es el mod, me podrias ayudar? y realmente esta increible y hermoso este mod realmente me encanta (deberias poner luego una licencia lifetime, sin duda la compraria) :))

It is working flawlessly in normal mode but, when I try to use it in VR (Quest 2 + Virtual Desktop + OpenXR mode + Nvidia RTX 4060 TI) it simply can't run when I click on "drive" button of ATS game. It starts loading really slow on PC screen and doesn't show anything (black screen) inside VR

You can see the metallic blue and the black paint. When you go outside the workshop, it doesn't stay blue, just black from the metallic paint. Hello! Happy New Year! I'm getting 100% GPU utilization and super-fast fan speeds, only when I use Snowy Moon. Using ATS with an RTX 4070 Super Ti. Once I delete the three Snowy Moon files from the folder (dinput8.dll, nvngx_dlss.dll and dxgi.dll) the GPU is normal again. It happens using both stable and preview versions. I'm using nvidia driver 591.59.
