05.02.2026 UPDATE: Updated for the 1.121 patch. REMOVE the main module and script and redownload the mod by the link for the 1.121 patch! You should have the 1.2 version for the main mod and the script. You can keep the secrets add-on, it doesn't require the update
30.12.2025 UPDATE: Fixed the buff for pretending at school appearing when it shouldn't be and added the French translation (thanks, Hope!).. Remove old version and make sure you only have 1.1.2 version in the Mods folder
19.11.2025 UPDATE: Fixed unique buffs appearing on sims being not twins. Remove old version and make sure you only have 1.1.1 version in the Mods folder

I love this mod, but I have been having an issue lately where infants and toddlers get the "bad feeling" mood buff about a twin, but they aren't a twin. I had to remove this mod so they would stop being scared all the time.

Hi! I keep getting the BE exception for the new updated version. It's a good mod but the BE is annoying. It constantly shows up and slowly lags my game whenever I load into household. It's a good mod though.
Hi, you installed something wrong, I guarantee the updated mod is fully compatible. Remove everything from your mods folder, keep only MCCC, BE, updated Lot51 Core Library and the redownloaded version 1.2 of this mod. Don't use any old files. BE generates the exception file because the script you have somewhere in the folder hasn't been updated for the new genealogy tracker

Hi, you can get the error only if you're on the 1.121 version and installed the old version of the mod or vice versa. Which version you have? Did you delete all files before installing the new version?
Finally, they're twins instead of just brothers! Your mod is fantastic! But I'd like to ask why the UI is malfunctioning during gameplay. The relationship bar doesn't display the twins' relationship correctly, and sometimes when twins ask others about their relationship with the other, there are three status bars.
Hi, the issue may occur if you have enabled the romance bar between the relatives because this mod uses a space for that bar. In other cases no issues do occur. If you're not sure what exactly causes it, make 50/50

After which update? I didn't check it on the 1.120 patch yet, but it's compatible with the 1.119
Unfortunately, I have the similar problem with this mod as with the Town Preferences. Town Preferences: had infinite load screen in cas, where cas music played over game music. Removed it a while ago before trying Twins, problem fixed. Twins: had infinite load screen while traveling between lots. Heard the sound effect indicating that load should finish soon, but it continues for the infinite time. Didn't try loading in cas, maybe its the same issue. After removing the mod problem fixed. I don't know if its only my problem with Twins, but I've read some comments with the same isuue about Town Preferences in Origamika.
The game is not quite stable now and that's why you can have this issue in almost any circumstances. None of these mods can cause infinite load screen
Omg I'm so exited I just became a payed suporter and member because I absolutely love this mod. If my twin sims had conversations one always said "but I'm your older brother". Now he can be the oldest. I love how they share twin secrets and how their bond is better because of this mod.
