The next Chapter of A Hero's Rebirth!
Chapter 8 of A Hero's Rebirth is here! Thank you for your patience, and thank you for your support! It has meant a lot to me.
As I have said, I have had some conflicts with my editors, Ms. M (for personal reason) has had to step down as my editor. I would appreciate it if you could all be kind and gentle with her. She has done a lot of good work helping me clean up my work. Yes, she was mid-edit when she stopped and that put us back, but she was able to help a great deal, and I don't want to see/hear any unkind words about her for having to step down.
Thegoofyproofyreader has not responded yet, I don't know his status or what's going on with him. Again, please be kind to him if you are in communication with him in any way, he's done amazing work and deserves respect. I'm just still struggling to reach him
A big thanks to ThL who has helped me as much as he could clean up this chapter, I'm sure it's not perfect, but that's why I usually like to have two editors. four eyes are better than two, and I'm not talking about wearing glasses.
Anyways, I've blathered on long enough. I'm sure most of you didn't actually read this part until you came back later... so let me give you what you actually want. I'm glad I didn't disappoint!
On page 94 you had a sentence... "For all we know, on the other side of the world there are other elves worshiping other gods they claim as their elven gods, just as validly" This came out of the blue to me. So in theory they might exist and were not participants in the great betrayal. As a result their numbers would not be decimated. This gives you some possible new story directions once Kathra is eliminated. The same holds true with all the other non elf races.
Oh, I absolutely am planning a follow-up series where Thomas gets to explore more of the world and learn more about the other races. I may introduce a few of the other races here, but I have planned far more than I intend to include before everything is resolved with Kathra. It is currently like how the USA has things like national competitions and calls them "World Series"... strange that a "World Series" only ever represents a single nation of the world.
I enjoyed this chapter. You surprised me with the way you were able to have the Cloud Dragons and the Cloud Elves get back together. There were two examples in this chapter of the Cloud Eleves not recording history or deleting history. I hope that Thomas enlightens them to the earth saying that "Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it". Their scribes need to do much better job or recording and perhaps have the Cloud Dragons review their writings to make sure they are not baised or incomplete.

Very well done! I loved the story, and eagerly await chapter 9. I noticed a few typos (which I will inform you of if you wish it) but they barely distracted me from the story.
