Editing complications

Hey guys, just wanted to give you guys an update on the status of the editing of Chapter 8 of A Hero's rebirth. Unfortunately, it is not good news.

As you are aware from my crediting of them, I have been working with two fabulous editors: Mrs. M and thegoofyproofyreader. Unfortunately, Mrs. M has had to make the decision, for personal reasons to no longer edit for me. I wanted to thank her for all her amazing work and wish her the best in whatever life holds for her. I am not going to share more of our conversations than that, and ask that you all treat her with the courtesy that she deserves for all the great work she has put in on the stories you have loved.

The situation with thegoofyproofyreader is unfortunately up in the air. He reached out to me not long ago for a status update and pulse check on where I was in the writing of Chapter 8 and has not responded since. Those of you who have corresponded with me know the email I have created for communications regarding my writing is "thenaughtypaladin@gmail.com" and I know some email services take one look at that and go "Oh, you are spam from some naughty adult site... STRAIGHT TO JUNK/SPAM WITH YOU!!!" I hope that that is all that is happening and the goof will reach out to me soon and we can get this edited and published for you guys.

What I hope isn't happening is what happened with my previous editor, Bry1997. I still don't know what really happened, but one day he just stopped responding to me and after a few months, I had to move on and find another editor.

So of my 2 editors, one has stepped down and the other is in limbo. I believe I have someone who has previously reached out to me that I'm going to see if I can find their email and get in contact, but... yeah. Unfortunately, this is going to somewhat delay the publishing of Chapter 8.

Sorry guys, I will do all I can to get a new editor and get chapter 8 published as soon as I can. Thanks for your patience,
