Death Note - Episode 22

she touched the paper momentarily, she only gained sight of the shinigami, but because she's no longer touching the paper she actually doesn't have her memories back you're also right that the yotsuba group believe matsuda to be dead. which is why it will be a good surprise to reveal matsuda on the program and force higuchi's hand one last thing: a couple of episodes ago I remember you were confused as to how L and Light deduced that Namikawa was least likely to be Kira, and was thus safe to call. Here the Yotsuba members themselves explain that the smartest of Yotsuba (Namikawa/Shimura) would be the least likely to rely on "stupid" group meetings in order to use the Death Note in the first place - they'd be fine by themselves. In the meeting watched by L and Light, Namikawa revealed himself as being the smartest in the group, and thus the least likely to need such a group to begin with, and thus the safest person to contact and make a mole of.

Misa doesn’t remember anything as another comment stated, but she proved to higuchi that she was the second kira by having Rem (the other shinigami in the back of the car listening) kill some rival business man upon higuchis request. Obviously L and the rest of the group don’t know this, so she was trying to be careful about what she said and how she supposedly convinced him to also say he was Kira. If the team had wiretaps in the car beforehand it would’ve been over for misa, hence her anxiety. Other than that I think you’re all up to speed honestly, I don’t think you need to watch previous episodes or anything 🤝

Death note is back! I prayed for times like these!

damnnn that L theme just always works, constantly elevating every moment

Rem just chilling in the back lol. Considering his desperation its odd he hasn't spoken to her at all. Does he just see her as beneath him? Did she initially tell him she cant help him? He just seems to ignore her existence completely.

I haven't watched all of Vinland Saga yet so I've been avoiding watching those videos. I'm glad you're back to Death Note! I had to skip the beginning of this video to avoid Vinland spoilers xD I'm glad you were able to get back into the flow of it. Took a bit of time, to be expected with some time away from the show. But this episode really brings you back into it about halfway.

Misa doesnt remember everything, her shinigami made her see her and gained her trust and told her everything she needed to know for lights plan to work out Also : L brought up this idea of memory in his head multiple times already but i think he didnt say out loud before
