im rewatching the show with you and I cant remember how Light expects to kill Raye penber without increasing suspicions cuz hes going to be the only one who had his tail die, no? I love a rewatch without perfect memory of all the events because i already know from the first time if I enjoyed it or not

It'll be Interesting to see you watch the Japanese as I've only ever seen the English, I love how L specifically sounds in English so I wonder how it differs.

Yeah the American film is famously a terrible adaptation of the anime/manga, they don't do the cat and mouse well at all, and they don't stick to the rules of the death note very well, creating a lot of plotholes.

when you're deciding on whether light or L is smarter at the end of the show, remember that light was trying to get a name without being caught, whereas L was trying to prove that the supernatural exists and someone can murder people with just their names- we can't hold them at the same standard
