Since the last update I’ve been fully working on the test build for Luna. I bought a lot of new assets for the engine and decided to totally remake the map for the first town, Honeymilk. I decided to shrink the map quite a bit from the screenshots I shared a while ago. I’ll be posting a video of me

Open to everyone! About a year ago I did a popularity poll to see who were the favorite characters. Last time it was split into Primary and Secondary characters with 3 rounds. Nichole took the Main and Shyyla took the secondary. This time it’s 3 polls for Main, Support and Side characters, but there

The first release of Ch10 is out and it’s time for me to work on Luna again. That also means it’s time for another Aki: poll! Since the last one was so close I added the Wyn scene in again. The current plan is to have the next 2 releases be the same size as the last one. 2 main story scenes and 2 ep

I've been quite busy between working on the Aki release and my other work. November and December are always the time frames when families get together and want to hire a PI to watch their kids/spouse. I’ve moved my sleeping schedule to being up all night as a result. So if you see me online less tha

Apologies for no update last week. Between Thanksgiving and a job opportunity presenting itself so I can pay rent I had to pause what I was doing and focus on that for a bit. I try not to make these updates about me having to work other jobs too but I suppose every once in a while is fine. I don’t h

Had a small setback this week. I went to update my backup external HDD with all my current art assets and quickly realized that my backup drive was corrupting data. If you have followed me for a while this is probably not the first time that I have mentioned this, but it really wasn’t an issue becau

Making great progress on the Aki update. If I had to guess right now I’d say it will be a little more than 10 days until I’m done with everything. That is not a definitive date. I’ll probably have a better idea next Monday as I get closer to finishing. Currently I’m sitting at 50 images and 6 animat

Apologies for the no update last week. I got into “shut up and work” mode and was getting a lot done last week. I have 3 scenes planned for the next Aki release. 2 story scenes and the voted side scene. Both story scenes are going to be pretty dialogue/lore heavy so those who want that will be eatin

Another week goes by and more work has been completed. But it’s time to pause and work on Aki again. I really like where HR Luna is at but I’ll certainly need more time just because I’m learning a lot. I’ve also been going through my KK assets to see what I can use in the game. I’ve been making a lo

Progress has been good. I’m learning a lot and it’s been really enjoyable. Shout out to Zakko from Demon Deals who pointed me in the right direction for some of the plugins I needed. The plan now is to work on HR Luna for one more week then pause and make the next Aki update. In the meantime I have

The votes are in and it is close! 1- Jake, Aki and Wyn - House = 73 2- Jake x Aki x Garnet - Park = 17 3- Jake x Saki - Aki Cuckqueen = 76 Saki enjoyers will be pleased. I’ll be adding the Wyn scene and 2 new options on the next poll. That poll will happen shortly after I get the next Aki update out

I’m going to start calling these the Monday updates because currently I’m sure as hell not doing them weekly. Sometimes there just isn’t anything to say. Especially now when the work is mostly me doing research into plugins for rpgmaker and expanding on the design doc. Not exactly exciting stuff to

Polls are back! This is the first time I’m doing one with weighted voting power so I may mess up setting this up. So forgive me if I have to repost this at least once. Each tier will have their own separate poll because I have to calculate the weighted votes manually. sigh Vote on the first epilogue

Alright with THR: Aki CH9 out it’s time to actually start talking about HR: Luna in these weekly posts. But first let’s go over what the plan is for THR: Aki going forward. For the foreseeable future the plan is to continue adding scenes to Aki. There are about 6 main story scenes that need to happe

I skipped last week's update because I didn’t have anything to share. That and I was trying to get this done. The good news is that I have a release date now! The Holdcraft Resort: Aki Chapter 9 will be released on Aug 29/30th! This means that the free version will be out one week later. I will post
