How does it work?

Before I start this tutorial, I will say this :

• I don't claim this is how astrology works, this is not 100% accurate. I created it for my game and made a system for the game. If you want a zodiac sign that's super realistic, this mod isn't for you and that's okay.

Choose The Right Package Files

I made two versions of this mod. One requires seasons, the other one doesn't. If you download the one that requires seasons and you don't own that pack then you will have some issues. Please don't skip this step.

• If you HAVE Seasons EP --> "ZodiacSignsSeasonsVersion_byannasiims"

• If you DON'T have seasons ---> "ZodiacSigns_byannasiims"

As of August 31st, 2026 all your sims including NPCs will receive a zodiac sign randomly (Child-Elder). If you were using this mod before this update, it's okay any zodiac sign you assigned to your sims will remain the same.

If you DON'T like the zodiac sign they got assigned and want to reassign their zodiac sign, you will click on your sim, go to actions and there you will select "annasiims mods" then "Zodiac Signs". (Make sure you have GenPie Menu & any other requirement) There you will see a few options:

• Assign Zodiac Sign : This is very self explanatory, you will assign your sims a zodiac sign, this will unlock the zodiac sign app on your phone. I also organized them by season in case you want to choose your sims zodiac based on season. The zodiac sign traits are reward traits.

• Randomize : This will randomize your sims zodiac!

• Cheats : I created this "cheat" that allows you to assign your sim their moon & rising sign in case you don't like what your sim got assigned by the Moon & Rising Calculator. Also a cheat where you can see all the traits from the "traits suggestion" category with no restriction

• Reset : This obviously takes away your sims zodiac sign , moon & rising sign and any extra traits you might have added from the trait suggestions.

Infants

When you age your baby to an infant they will get a zodiac sign assigned to them by season (if you own Seasons), if you don't they will get a randomized one. If you don't like what they got then use the cheat system I created.

Nova : Simstrology App

Okay so once you have chosen your sims zodiac sign. This will unlock the "Nova : Simstrology App" on your phone. This app is ONLY available for Teens-Elders. This app has 7 categories :

• Zodiac Sign Profile : Here you will see your sims Zodiac Sign, Moon & Rising Sign.

• Daily Horoscope : You will get a notification with the horoscope and receive a buff

• Love Horoscope : You will get a notification with the horoscope and receive a buff

• Moon & Rising Sun Calculator : Here you will answer a few questions about your sim so we can figure out your sims Moon & Rising sign like when they were born? Where? What time?. When you are done, you will receive a notification and you will be able to see your sim's moon & rising sign in your profile inside the app, it won't be a reward trait. It's done this way so the simology panel didn't look too crowded with 3 icons of zodiac signs.

• Compatibility : You can see which zodiac signs are most compatible with your sim whether it is romance or friendship. This is just for storytelling purposes, I didn't want this to have a huge effect on your sims, that will be up to you.

• Settings :This will take you directly to the zodiac signs cheat menu instead of clicking on your sim and bla bla bla, you get it!

Trait Suggestions

This will appear once you find out your sims moon & rising sign. Depending on your sims signs, they will have trait suggestions, all of these traits will be reward traits. I liked the idea of this instead of assigning interactions for each zodiac sign. Some of them unlock some interactions (can be found in Small Talk or Deep Thoughts Category), buffs, whims, really easy simple things that just add a bit of more gameplay and personality for your sims. I plan on continuing to add more traits in later updates. These traits are only available for Teens-Elders

Turn On/Off System

If you don't own this EP, you can still download this mod. This system will just not appear for you.

This turn on/off system is probably my favorite part of this mod, i spent a lot of hours researching zodiac signs and personalities so that I could maybe find a similar one to match in the game.

Example on how this works:

If your sim chooses Aries as a turn on they will be attracted to sims who have traits like Ambitious , Jealous, Hot-Headed, Loyal , Self assured , Competitive (Adventure Awaits)
