Mod Features:

This mod features a Pet Health Insurance system like they work in real life, you can choose a coverage, submit claims, buy medicine online & change/cancel your plan. This mod also includes a rabbit hole vet clinic for those players who hate going to the vet clinic and wait!

How does it work?

Pet Health Insurance

ou can get your pet health insurance by going to the household category and signing up for “Pet Health Insurance” on your computer! You'll gain a reward trait.

Coverage Plans :

• Basic Coverage (§50 monthly) : Choosing this coverage whenever you go to the vet and submit a claim you’ll get 60% of reimbursement

• Standard Coverage (§70 monthly) : Choosing this coverage whenever you go to the vet and submit a claim you’ll get 75% of reimbursement

• Premium Coverage (§120 monthly) : Choosing this coverage whenever you go to the vet and submit a claim you’ll get 90% of reimbursement and a full reimbursement when you get your pets get spayed/neuter

When you have chosen your coverage, you will now unlock these two interactions under SimNation Pet Insurance :

• Buy Medicine : Allow you to buy some pet treats including the wellness treat that instantly cures your pet if they’re sick. Because you have insurance it’s better to buy it through here you’ll pay 25 and in the vet 50-150 (CRAZY)

• Submit A Claim: This pet insurance works just like in real life, you will attend the vet and pay up front. When you get home you submit a claim to your pet insurance and they’ll reimburse a % of the money depending on your coverage.

• Pay Balance (Not Shown In Picture) : Pretty straight forward after 14 sim days you will need to pay the “monthly” fee!

• Cancel / Change Plan : You can change or cancel your plan!

Submitting A Claim

This is very straight up forward, after you come home from the vet, make sure to go to the SimNation Pet Insurance to submit your claim so you can get your reimbursement, all you need to do is pick which ever treatment option you did at the vet which are mostly always the same options

Sick Treatments : Basic Treatment (§150) & Expensive Treatment (§750)

Spay/Neuter : §100

Check Ups: Vaccines (Preventative Shot) (§200)

Renewal Of Your Plan

Every 14 sim days you will get a notification which will tell you that you have a balance due. In order to pay that balance you'll need to go to your computer and the interaction "Pay Balance" will appear! After that, you will regain access to the pet insurance benefits

Pet Paws Vet Clinic ( Rabbit-hole Vet Clinic)

If you are one of those that hates going to the vet then I got the perfect solution for you! PetPaws Clinic is a Vet Clinic in a rabbit-hole, you have the same options that you have in a vet but in a rabbit-hole! Your sim and the pet need to be at least friends, if they are just acquaintances the pie menu won't show up. When your pet gets sick, you will click on your pet, go to Pet Care and a pie menu called "Go To Vet" will appear! You have two options:

• Sick Visit : You will get a pop up to choose which treatment you prefer

• Spay/Neuter & Vaccines : I decided to include the vaccines with the spay/neuter procedure so you can get two in one lol! ( §100 )

• Unspay/UnNeuter (free)
